Out of curiosity what is the maximum diameter of the stock lug nuts? Curious if I need to get a set for my rims, although I'd much rather stick with the OE ones if I can get away with it. Aftermarket ones are such a crapshoot on if they're good or will start rusting after a year.

I think the Lariat wheels have a great design!

Well.. bad news but it's not the end of the world.

Thanks for another helpful video.

I am also looking to add black lug nuts and can you provide a link or info of what size will fit?

Ford Maverick XLT/Lariat.. Undecided still :O
Page 354 of the owner's manual gives the proper spec.. hard to believe people will trust what they see/read online instead of taking a glance at the manual that comes with their vehicle.

What a time to be alive.

In the Mustang world most aftermarket wheels require smaller diameter lug nuts than stock. Not sure if that's going to be the case with the Maverick. I don't mind because the stock Mustang lugs are a 2-piece design that bends or breaks easily and better quality is available in the aftermarket.

First off, I appreciate the OPs videos. More content, more perspectives and more videos is more better.

With that said tho? Agreed. I'd FAR prefer to take 15 secs to "ctrl+F" an electronic version of the owners manual to answer a question than sit through 30 min YouTube videos. I gots shit to do. :)

They're 'okay', but snow is potentially a factor like 6 months out of the year here. I'd rather just run some 3MSF A/T tires year round and 17" has better value options so I'm opting to replace mine. (Also I had some more burnt copper plastidip to use and didn't think it'd look as good on them.)

148lb/ft of torque for the wheel nuts. That seems like an awful lot.
Exactly what I was thinking. The 100 ft-lbs I use on my other car seems like a lot to me already, I worry everytime I torque a wheel nut.
