Aftermarket Wheels

Hello everyone, my 2025 Maverick has been shipped. Super excited, but I have been looking at aftermarket wheels.

I want to make sure I get wheels that I like but I want to keep the same mpg’s (or close to it) that it gets with factory wheels.

The wheels I’m looking at are estimated to be 26-30lbs. Does anyone know how much the stock wheels weigh?

Does anyone have wheels that weigh 26+ lbs to give any feedback on if you lost mpg’s or have a lot of stress on the axles from wheels weighing more?

OEM wheel weight varies by trim level and the wheels your specific order comes with. OEM tire size, weight and tread design vary widely, too.

For best mileage, obviously lighter weight = better. So does tire design and tire width. Wider = more rolling resistance.

Correct, I was more so looking to see if anyone knew what the 19” stock wheels on the 2025 Lariat weighs.

A member posted a thread back in 2021 where he weighed a steel wheel without the tire and says it was 27.2 pounds on the scale.

FYI, almost all aftermarket wheels that fit your Mavericks are going to be 0.5 inches wider. It’s just how it is.
