From time to time while driving, Maverick gives out a low chirping? ANyone knows why? I guess it must be some kind of alert or warning.

If you're talking about the hybrid, it's required by law (at least here in the USA) to make an audible sound (chirping, humming, etc ) while in electric mode to warn pedestrians. From time to time while driving, Maverick gives out a low chirping? no, It's eco. And it' not constant. If you're talking about the hybrid, it's required by law (at least here in the USA) to make an audible sound (chirping, humming, etc ) while in electric mode to warn pedestrians.
No clue thenno, It's eco. And it' not constant.
sounds reasonable. I'll disconnect phone tomorrow to test your theory. If you have an active route in navigation and an event is occurring while you are on the phone etc., it will make an audible alert.
I never figured it out on my EB but did find that turning up volume on radio makes it disappear. From time to time while driving, Maverick gives out a low chirping? ANyone knows why? I guess it must be some kind of alert or warning.
I think you found those birdies Jon Rahm was looking for in the FedEx tourney over the weekendFrom time to time while driving, Maverick gives out a low chirping? ANyone knows why? I guess it must be some kind of alert or warning.
I believe that’s only when in reverse. If you're talking about the hybrid, it's required by law (at least here in the USA) to make an audible sound (chirping, humming, etc ) while in electric mode to warn pedestrians.
I went nuts once trying to track down a rattle in my wife's Jeep. Drove me crazy. Then one day I discovered a little door to the left of the steering wheel, bottom of the dash to hold change. Never knew it was there. There were 4 quarters in there.Could it be something in the truck, that's rubbing? - I've found that 9 out of 10 times I have rattle, squeak, or noise, it's something in the vehicle. Took half the dash apart in my Outback, trying to find this rattle or tap sound....it was the stupid EZPass, when the holder's sucking cups loosened, allowing it to lightly tap the windshield, when hitting a pavement seam/pot-hole while taking a turn. (Could have sworn it was coming from the dash in the area of the glovebox). Didn't figure it out I'd taken the dash apart twice, adding felt to insulated the panels from each other.
So far, the only vehicle noise I've had in the Maverick was a faint rattle on patchy roads, like objects in the glove box vibrating against each other. Would have bet money it was the center dash or something in the glovebox. Even lined the glovebox with a thick felt, and the noise persisted. Tucked a thin strip of adhesive felt down along the passenger a-pillar & speaker/dash panel, and she's now quiet. Noises are like water leaks, they don't always come from where they appear to be coming from.
Of course then there's the assembly line person playing jokes on occasion. I've heard stories of what my brother has seen pulled from a door panel, or an obscure compartment, who swears it was a line worker deciding to mess with the vehicle buyer...lug nut or ball bearing inside a door panel for instances. (Every time the owner hit the brakes or accelerated it would slide or roll front to back inside the door making noise).
