Has anyone received a text rather than an email alerting them that their Mav will be in production ? I was expecting an email so I do not know if the text is legit.

It's the email that you'll receive when you're not scheduled this go around. They arrive about every 45 days. Below is the one I received a few weeks back

I've been driving my '22 Maverick Lariat Lux AWD 4K for 13 months now, 10K+ trouble-free miles (even got a cool Yeti for doing the side-curtain airbags) - missed out on the Tremor the first time around and think I'd prefer that over the towing (I have yet to tow anything).

I am surprised it was put in as priority 10 - it's a smaller dealer so maybe as a repeat customer?

First Mav took 9 months from order to delivery, I'm surprised I got the e-mail so soon.. I'm still undecided if I'm going to trade-in, with interest rates the way they are and how I'm happy with the current one... we'll see.

Ford is messed up with their allocation system! It is not fair and stinks!!!! What a slap in the face when a new order gets scheduled before a rollover!

The only reason for that would build constraints OR a dealer blew through their allocation wall. If you ordered the Lariat with a tri-fold, and the next guy same order but no tri-fold, he'll get built since the tri-fold is a (minor at this point) constraint. Makes sense from a production standpoint.
And I'm guessing my lack of a Ford love letter today is because of the tri-fold....

So what good did it do for Ford to say they would prioritize the 23 rollovers?? Evidently, it did no good, since they are scheduling some of the new orders before the rollovers. So can we trust what Ford says? The proof is in what you do Ford. It is not in what you said!
