Got in an accident Sunday

Avoided someone and hit a tree, details kind of fuzzy as I woke up in the hospital and still here. Only 4 or 5 months on my Maverick and I hope it's repairable.
I hit my head and conked out which was the worst of it but the pill pushers are playing it waaaaay safe. Total pita in the hospital.
Maybe I'll get out tomorrow, wonder where to go for an estimate?
Totally pissed about the situation. My Maverick was a bright spot with the divorce and all.

Thanks! Have some big bruises and a couple of new souvenirs but the Maverick was what I was enjoying. Waited 16 months for the XLT and 6 months for the Lariat. Was looking forward to doing some things to it after I built my new garage. Maybe I'll get out of the hospital soon and then ascess the damage and take some pics.

Sorry about your injuries and your truck. Even a Maverick can be replaced. Glad you are OK!

Man i'm sorry. I woke up in a hospital from a wreck once. Both jaws broken, eye socket, nose(plus sinuses), and collar bone. Hope to all the gods you arent in that kinda shape. Sucks about your truck, hopefully insurance works out in your favor.

If you hit the tree hard enough to knock you out, aside from the obvious major front-end damage, the airbags will have all deployed and its almost certainly a writeoff with at least $30k in damage. Its a back-half parts truck now.

Nobody killed, nobody lost a family member, nobody crippled for life. You have much to be thankful for. Your hitting the tree may have even saved a life. Mavericks one day will be a dime a dozen. Sorry you are going through this though.
