Yup yup, installed before sundown and left up overnight, next morning had to press the window trigger multiple times, seems it has a torque threshold where the motor tries not to kill itself. Pull visor out from the body and crank that trigger until the window releases. For installation, I noticed this on RealTruck's website. " Keep windows in the up position for 72 hours and do not drive vehicle for four hours after installation. "
RealTruck's Install Video:
It's a few bolts and tabs: check out Redneck's video on it - much easier followed and much clearer details than that original "full bumper teardown" video that was making rounds last yearAhhh, well that explains the spikey looking protrusions as well. Were you able to take the center bar off easily?
Instructions explicitly say no car washes that use the spinning brushes that run the length of your vehicle - probably protecting themselves from liability butHow do they work in car washes. A family member used to work in the car wash business and had horrific stories about busted windows.
