I installed that dash cam last weekend. I had no trouble connecting it to my Pixel 6 Pro. I just went out and was able to connect to my work iPad and my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max. I don't really have any troubleshooting advice, Sorry. I'm sure you know but the default password is 123456789.
I did just when doing the initial 5 up/downs after installation. I just held the switch all the way up and all the way down 5 times and now the auto function works as normal.
I got this one from Wally world on discount for less than 5 bucks. Works great for groceries etc. I just leave it in, unless I need the whole bed.

I don't know how they actually compare quality wise. But I put Rally Armor flaps on my last vehicle. They held up well for the 5 years that I owned it. I just used the generic set and trimmed to fit. Huge price difference. Installed using the existing push pins and screws in the wheel well...
I have 4 of these I have used for awhile with my quick jack. They work great. I had one that I used with the floor jack before buying a quick jack and it was just as useful, which is the exact scenario OP is wanting.
