Also, I have minor complaints about the fitment - obviously they need to be tight but it actually binds up my window motors when I fully close the window, too tight!! It's gotten better over the days since I put them on but still leaves streaks/squeals itself free. Overall I like em, probably gonna rebuy the glossy though...

BTW... I can roll my front windows down without the buffeting noise I was plagues with anymore. YAY!
That's the biggest boon honestly, the visors stick out so much they really do their job at pushing the wind away from the window, reminds me of my hood scoop, which does its job so well I can drive around with pools of water on my hood.

Thanks for the warning. Definitely don't want to lose side visibility.
I didn't think it would be so bad, kinda like when you first get in the Mav and go "holy shit can't see shit" but I find myself ducking my head under it to talk to tall drive-throughs or around it to see the corner of the pedestrian walk. It basically doubles your A-Pillar's width, takes some getting used to for sure.

Have the matte ones, feel like they block too much of my A Pillar view. Those glossy ones are perfectly seethrough damn I wish I had gone with those! The matte does match the black trim of the Mavericks really well but my hood scoop is more glossy than the matte on the EGR

Apologies for an ignorant question or if you've covered this elsewhere in the Forum, but what's that black bar "thingy" on your front grille that goes from headlight to headlight and covers up the Ford emblem??

Not ignorant, you'll laugh at the answer tho! I took the center bar off, that's all. You can see the clips in the headlights and the alignment posts on the "black bar thingy". The center bar and logo are currently in my workshop waiting for a couple coats of Alto Blue. Probably won't ever get to it and just buy the "Raptor" style grill that's been floating around lately

Ahhh, well that explains the spikey looking protrusions as well. Were you able to take the center bar off easily?

In case you haven't heard, finally some "IN CHANNEL" style Side Window Visors made by EGR are now available instead of the stick on style which I never cared for.

If your interested:

RealTruck: https://realtruck.com/c/exterior-ac...ors/v/ford/maverick/2022/?mounting=In-Channel

EGR: https://egrusa.com/products/slimline-window-visors
Thank you for sharing. I have ALWAYS preferred in channel as opposed to stick on. I did check Weather Tech site and they have yet to come out with any. Thank you again! Will definitely order some.

Thank you for the observation. I sure don't want to burn the window motors up. I'll give them a shot.

For installation, I noticed this on RealTruck's website. " Keep windows in the up position for 72 hours and do not drive vehicle for four hours after installation. "

How do they work in car washes. A family member used to work in the car wash business and had horrific stories about busted windows.

I'm actually a convert in the other direction where I used to swear by Weathertech in channel side vents but they caused all sorts of issues with my Subarus and once I put the adhesive ones on I was sold and never going back.

I’ve had them on a couple of vehicles and never had a problem with car washes. Wife’s Telluride has them and she hits the carwash at least twice a week.
