And dealer with the least allocation on the Maverick = ?!?!?!?!?!?!
That would be my dealer. I picked the wrong dealer. Found out they mostly do fleet orders. I'm stuck for the roll over MY24. I don't have much faith I'll ever see it.
Keep the faith. My dealer ordered a total of 6 Mavericks in 2022. The 5 2022 EBs came in; my Hybrid did not. When 2023 opened, my dealer sold ZERO new Mavericks, but my cancelled VIN/Rollover did get built as a 2023.
Despite that, I ordered a 2024 and that may be the only 2024 Maverick they have on order. I don't foresee a problem. Everybody here wants an F-250 or F-350 for real ranch work. I just wanted a car with a pickup bed for trips to the hardware store.

It will take a long time for Hybrid buyers to save 1500 in gas. Why bother
That depends on how much you drive. The average US driver drives 14,263 miles per year (most recent FHA stats) and average nationwide gas price is $3.71 right now. So in gas alone, the hybrid saves $605 a year and pays off that $1,500 in just under 2.5 years. If you drive more city, gas prices keep increasing, you drive above average mileage, etc., that payoff is even quicker.

This calculator has been floating around since the cost increase announcemnt to help figure out the price point: https://fueleconomy.gov/feg/savemoney.jsp Ford Maverick Order banks outlook Hybrid_EB_Compare_371gal

Calculation says about 2 yrs if you do 15k miles per year. Of course, you save more if you live in cities/states with high cost for gas.

Imagine if you live in Mendocino, California, where gas price currently average $7.28/gallon for regular unleaded. So, do you want a hybrid or gas? Or even an EV? lol

According to @Fordvideoguy, they are the #3 on the Maverick with about 425 allocations. And here are the top two with more allocations than Long McArthur Ford:
1) Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA
2) Mullinux in Orlando, FL

And dealer with the least allocation on the Maverick = ?!?!?!?!?!?!
Which Mullinax? Ordered a Bronco and Maverick from Mullinax(Kissimmee)last week, Maverick went in on the 18th the Bronco on the 21st. Bronco got scheduled yesterday. I do see way more Mavericks here than Broncos.

You are in SoCal, which dealer did you order from? I got mine after almost 600 days from Citrus Motors Ford.

Unfortunately in order to get your truck in a timely matters at an MSRP you need to learn about allocations/priority codes/honest dealers etc. Had I known, about allocations, I would have ordered my Maverick from Galpin back in Nov. 2021.

The median home listing there is 1.3 million. If residents aren't buying an EV and taking advantage of home charging at 23 cents a kwh instead of paying $7.28 a gallon of gas then I don't know what to say. An EV even at a relatively expensive 0.23 per kwh will save you $10k over 5 years. Add in state and federal ev incentives and you definitely save money with an EV in Mendocino.

Anyone trading in a say 22 ecoboost maverick for a 24 hybrid for fuel savings should have their head checked especially if they took advantage of crazy low finance rates. The break even price on that transaction is years when you consider the year to year price increase, hybrid upcharge and the probably 3-4 thousand in extra interest costs you'd pay with a new loan at 5%

Yes I too would have ordered from Galpin. First new car/truck in 24 years. I didn't know about allocations.

Totally agree. Just responding to someone who said saving on the Hybrid takes too long and not to bother.

Not sure which, just quoting... click on the link on my post, it will ref back to when Tim said about #1 and #2 dealers in the US. You can go on youtube from the video a few days ago when he said Long McArthur is #3 in the nation. And I recall they were like #5 last year, therefore they must have been doing things right to move up from #5 -> #3.

Looks like this one was rejected, likely because the dealer screwed up and left off the Copilot 360 Assist on the otherwise loaded Lariat BAP. Just for reference, my truck (with 360 assist) was over $15,200 LESS.

I read they will start makeing 2024 mavericks October 17th
Since there isn't much new on the 24 the production line should start pretty easily although if there are some keypads laying around they might be mystified trying to find where to put them. First batch will probably be fleet and marketing trucks.
