The XL headlights are sealed unit LED. Bulb replacement is not possible, you have to buy the whole headlight. Retails for $1,137 each, if I remember correctly. There will probably be cheaper third party parts in the next few years.

This seems like a huge expense for what should be such a simple part. Ive replaced more than a few bulbs and it never took more than a quick trip to get the bulb and a few minutes watching youtube to do it myself...
If you happen to take apart a sealed headlight assembly from a Maverick Truck, please make the Youtube video on it - and the re-seal/reassembly.
$1000 for a headlight is absurd. .. I'd be the guy to bust something
This is one of the biggest reasons I will be buying my first ever extended warranty through Flood Ford. All of these LEDs are supposed to last for a very long time but I've seen enough fail to know it's a bunch of BS.

It’s a scary amount of money, for sure. I think that except for accidents, they are supposed to last the life of the truck.
