A couple of brake light questions if you don't mind...

Lariet Hybrid, if it makes any difference.

How many bulbs are there? Four, two on each side? (Not counting the center/over cab light)
Are they the same bulbs as the turn signals and four ways?
Do they light up when "Auto Hold" is holding the car at a stop light or just when my foot is on the brake pedal?

Philosophical question: If you wanted to brighten things up a little without being too obnoxious, would you just replace the third (center/over cab) bulb with an LED bulb or go all the way and replace the other bulbs too? Thanks.

Rear lighting is the same across all trims.

There are two brake light bulbs in each of the rear light housings plus the one above the cab with the cargo lights.

I don't know about the auto hold relationship, sorry. Heck, I forgot auto hold is a thing, even. The manual doesn't say the brake lights stay on when auto hold is engaged and you lift your foot off the brake pedal. I would assume they do but...

IMHO, having LED brake lights is a bit much. It might not be too bad changing the one with the cargo lights to an LED bulb but brake lights are plenty bright as is.

The brake lights stay on when the brakes are set with auto brake hold. You do have to fully depress the brake peddle for it to engage.

I know my Auto Hold/break light question was kind of dumb, but I wrote the question while the sun was out and I don't have a partner available to help me check this out. Now it's dark, so I parked the Mav super close to, and facing away from my garage door, and I could see the break light reflection against the white door in my mirrors. It seems that the Auto Hold feature does in fact ignite the brake lights even while my foot is not actually on the brake pedal. Just adding to the general body of trivial Maverick knowledge.

Answer: Don’t break your lights. They won’t work anymore. This is true even for brake lights.

It should take the 2057 bulbs just like every other vehicle out there.
They even make 2057 led bulbs if you so desire.
They do last a long time, I’ve yet to replace the 2057 brake lite bulbs on my 2001 2500 HD. I’m the original owner.

Do you mean 3057 bulbs? Because in either case that's not the size the Maverick takes.

Question, per LASFIT they haven’t approved their Maverick LED Light kit yet for the 2023 per their CSR. Wait and see,
0 difference between 22 and 23. But I'm sure they have to do an official test to say it is approved and works before they will release the go ahead.. I already have my lights to put in my 23.. it's shipped so as soon as I get it they will go in.
