As far as I know the order banks are still open. I guess it’s safe to assume Ford priced out a decent amount of people. If in fact they can do 10 to 11,000 per month I'm wondering if delivery times will improve? One can hope, right?

Hybrids will be backed up for the better part of the model year. Ford has basically already said as much. However, Ecoboost orders should see ±6 month delivery times, I'd imagine. And I predict you WILL see Maverick Ecoboost stock units on dealer lots starting in the spring.

Yeah, I think parts shortages are gonna be the big issue this time, not lack of manpower.

It would interesting to see how many folks bailed on transferring their order. Wonder if that number will come out sometime.

to add to the price increase determent it's now pretty much common knowledge that there is a long wait time involved.

yeah, I was all set to buy a hybrid. In the interest of actually taking delivery of the truck, I spoke to my dealer and he told me that the hybrid will be an extremely long wait, he said if I could consider an eco-boost the wait would be shorter. So an eco-boost XLT, it is.

We have no numbers right now. But hybrids will still take the year. I could see EB orders being cleaned out by Christmas.

I actually would have saved about $400 if I rolled my order over to 2024, so the price increase is subjective. If you were ordering pretty bare bones and one of the options you wanted was part of a package, then yes, pretty stiff increase. In my case, I basically ordered everything that came in a package lol!

I also think we're seeing the initial wave of buyers getting orders fulfilled for EB's especially. Lot of Hybrid rollovers. I'd expect 2025 for hybrids to look like 2024 for EB's.

Since they should start scheduling 2024s mid to end of August I wonder if the commodities report will show the number of unscheduled retail orders then.

23s end the second week of October, a week or 2 for shifting to 24 cycle, so late/end of October seems about right.

@fordvideoguy specifically discussed this on last night's live stream with some breaking news that he got word from Ford marketing about Ford pushing hard on Hybrid MY23 rollovers early in production, allocations still are king but I recall I think that's what he said. He may be able to weigh in.
