As far as I know the order banks are still open. I guess it’s safe to assume Ford priced out a decent amount of people. If in fact they can do 10 to 11,000 per month I'm wondering if delivery times will improve? One can hope, right?
For those that are financing their Maverick....I am sure the Fed raising the interest rate has something to do with it...

“We will prioritize your rollover 2024 working within your dealer’s allocations”. Allocations on special orders is dumb. I can understand for sending stock, but you pretty much have a guaranteed buyer for your product but won’t send it because the distribution point (dealer) has low selling numbers? Your dealer won’t get a $25,000 truck that is pre-sold because they have a lot full of $60,000 trucks they can’t sell. What does it matter!?!? Sheesh, just send the truck already. Madness I tell you.

Its Great that those who "Truely" want/need their trucks might be getting them.
I still believe that the price hikes have 'Chased away" the "Flippers".
Which were one of the main reason for the previous issues...

yeah, I was all set to buy a hybrid. In the interest of actually taking delivery of the truck, I spoke to my dealer and he told me that the hybrid will be an extremely long wait, he said if I could consider an eco-boost the wait would be shorter. So an eco-boost XLT, it is.
I get that fuel is expensive but unless one is doing a s**t-ton of only city driving daily for the most part the ecoboost makes more sense. Only a few MPG less hwy and the option to get 2x the towing capacity sold me when I ordered mine. 4,000lb towing would haul a pretty nice RV travel trailer for my wife and I down the road when we decide to spring for one. 2,000lb rating doesn't tow much more than a light boat/trailer or a tent trailer.

Adverts? I haven't seen any Maverick ads. And I don't think you'll see any Maverick incentives anytime soon - especially for Hybrids. They still can't make enough of them.

I ordered my Lariat Hybrid last Sept. 16th. 2022. Took delivery yesterday 7-26-2023. The reason I had patience was I wanted the fuel economy of the Hybrid.

Honestly the more that bail the faster the rest of us get our orders. Since the hybrid chassis is the only one that can be flat towed I'll keep waiting.

All the whining and complaining on this forum and on Facebook may have made as big an impact as pricing on the number of orders being made for MY24.

For the past several months it was obvious to me that the Maverick production would eventually catch up with demand. This is NOT a Ford GT. I think 2024 will still see long wait times of a few months. I also think by March the backlog will be in line with other Ford vehicles.
Interest rates don't promote sales, but honestly if you need a new vehicle the Maverick pricing puts it ahead of others as far as payments. Now that gas prices are going back up, the problem that is hardest to fix will still be Hybrid production. Remember Ford wanted owners to switch to the EcoBoost, and that helped some for 2023 production.
Just glad I got my 23 Lariat Hybrid. Still exceeding my expectations.

That's been a fun part about getting a Maverick for me. No one in my extend family or friends group knew about the Maverick before I told them about it. I've never seen it advertised, which I assume Ford didn't put much of a premium on considering the built up demand. In fact, had my car not died last November, I likely wouldn't know about the Maverick either. I think that lack of broader awareness is catching up with them.

Myself plus two family members had 2023 XL & XLT Hybrids ordered on 9/16/22 and all three went live with September 25th 2023 production dates thus canceling out our 2024 orders. I think there will be a lot more capacity then people think.
