Seriously?! A USED xl initially offered for 35k?? I paid just under 32 k for my brand new 23 loaded XLT,4k, Ecoboost, lux pkg ,4wd. Is this just plain greed? Also ,my dealer did not raise my price after the initial order. There has been a lot of anecdotal evidence about falling Maverick prices on the secondary market. With the 2024 order bank currently open -- and, surprisingly, no talk of it closing yet -- it would seem there is still opportunity for anyone who really wants a Maverick to order one at MSRP and get it exactly how they want. Granted, the 24 prices are higher than 22 or 23, but...
...that brings us to the secondary market on used Mavericks. I got the email below from a local dealer today.

They dropped the price on this used XL from a hugely inflated $35K to a still inflated $31k. It's definitely still not a "deal" by any means. However, there is no denying these trucks are sitting on the lot longer than they were, and it's getting harder and harder to find people willing to pay thousands over sticker. As many others have said, I believe the era of crazy Maverick markup and easy profit for flippers is coming to an end.
