Don't forget that there will be some additional savings on Ford's plan pricing. On the X plan, dealer fees are limited to $100 which will save me hundreds of dollars.

Not sure what other dealers are charging for dealer fees but I seem to remember a mention of $499 on a video that I watched.

The bottom line number is the one that matters.

Too many orders with either Granger or Long McArthur were the reason I stayed locally last August and ordered my Maverick XLT Hybrid from AutoNation Ford Frisco Tx on 8/23. I was scheduled on 9/16 for production.

For me it wasn't worth the potential savings of maybe a $1000 and have the risk a not being scheduled for a very long time.

Fast forward to today and I have had my Maverick XLT Hybrid for almost three months and enjoying it immensely whereas those who ordered Hybrids in August from either Granger or Long McArthur probably won't get theirs until very late 2022 or as you state get pushed to a MY23 build.
Wow I ordered from my local dealer here in Franklin TN 8/25 and still don't even have a production date. All that to say is that the "Allocation" system SUCKS - You received your truck way before MANY June folks - which is great for you indeed ( no negativity there :) ) however as Ive said before - On customer orders it shouldn't matter who you order from. The only reason Granger or Long get so many orders is they have worked the allocation system for more trucks. Id agree also they have taken so many orders they wont be able to fulfill those. Sadly because of the super low amount of trucks received so far for my dealer as well ( about 20 trucks per month ) I don't think they will fulfil the 300 or so ordered they took for mostly hybrid models.

I have no idea how many trucks have passed through my local dealer. I have yet to see a Maverick on their lot, but I know my brother in laws father bought one from them.

Before COVID they predominenlty moved trucks. Very few SUVs or cars ever on their lot. Now they seem to have a mix of everything.
