Reread my comment.Because why pay an exhaust shop just to find out you don't like the sound of the muffler delete just to have to go back and pay them again to undo it? Do you like wasting money? This is a test to see if you like the sound and actually want to go through with the muffler delete. If you don't either buy an aftermarket or have a shop weld the muffler back in. I don't know if you know this but exhaust sounds don't sound quite the same over video as they do in real life.
Yes if there was a catastrophic failure and I really needed the warranty to make the repairs I would go as far as to buy a stock exhaust an replace the whole thing, wouldn't want the dealer seeing the weld marks around the muffler.
