Who received the 2024 confirmation from Ford?

Weird story for me, as today I see my ‘23 just got built! Then a little while later, I see an email from Ford. I thought it would confirm the xlt got built today, but it was a confirmation message of my ‘24 xlt order, which I never ordered. Nope didn’t order one. So I’m wondering if perhaps the dealership I ordered from didn’t think I’d get my ‘23 order, so they have my back to re order? Oh, well, but I like it. So, in a day, I find out the ‘23 is built and I have a ‘24 ordered!

I received the notice on the 18th. I have no idea what the priority is.

Just a comment regarding the eco boost vs hybrid decision.
I went with the hybrid for one reason and that is fuel economy.
I have a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk that gets 26 mpg constantly on the highway and 22 in the city except during the winter.
I know people who have a Maverick eco boost and they are getting on average less mpg than I get on my Trailhawk.
I would like to have a tremor so I could have the extra mpg and underbody protection. I just can’t do it if the daily mpg is not better than the Cherokee.

Hello all! Late to the game, but I received my initial confirmation Monday at a little after 5PM pacific time on Monday. Haven't seen any second confirmation that some people seem to be talking about.

Does anybody know if the order number/reservation number in that initial email has any bearing on precedence of your order (IE, your place in line)? Mine is a 3 digit number with an "A" at the end. Or is that just some placeholder till Ford confirms the reservation and issues a different order number or something?

I assume that is your order number generated by dealer using a system unique to them. Often references the salesman for the order using whatever numerical system the dealer has set up. So I believe... No reference to official priority at Ford nor the dealer AFAIK.

Can someone share what the priority codes on the order summary I got from my dealer actually represent and how many levels there are?

Dealer priority codes have recently changed so I understand. But, they indicate priority order status at that dealer only. Last year, the dealer could set PC's from 10 - 19. I spent the whole year at 19 and am not scheduled. (I think they ran out of allocations). PC 19 Was pretty standard but, did allow them to grant a higher PC to whomever they preferred if desired. This year, I'm not sure how it works. I heard they can use 6 - 80, and anything (like the rollovers) lower will be set by Ford. From what I've seen on this forum, Ford will readjust PC's on all rollover orders the week of August 14 to ensure they get priority over new my24 orders.

Did Anyone who has an “Unbuilt MY23 Order” get a MY24 Confirmation from Ford? From what I’m hearing “New MY24 Orders”, or orders with a “New Order #” received a Confirmation email from Ford. But, the “Rollovers” have not yet received confirmation from FMC? Has anyone with a “Rollover” or “Existing Order #” Received Confirmation?

What is the "from email address", because the sales guy gave me the piece of paper that I signed off in the dealership but I haven't received the email yet I don't think and I'm wondering if it's a different email address then I would expect?

I received one dated 7/17/2023 6:56. The order was input as a rollover order. Edit: Many others did also, look at early pages in this thread.

Yes, received mine. My original order was placed September 16 2022. I hope I get scheduled in August. They need to fill their existing orders before accepting new orders. This is beyond rediculous !

Yes. I have 2 rollovers. I got 2 emails last Tuesday which had different order codes from my 2023 orders. I then had to contact my dealer to let them know they needed to have the same order. Despite telling them they didn't fix it until I showed them the following proof.

I ordered my rollover Lariet july 17th at 4pm but as of today 7/24/23 nothing yet from
Fords, I hope the sales person submitted it to the order bank..
