These are all a bunch of short offroading videos from our 4550 mile Granger IA to San Diego. These were all filmed west of Durango CO or at Moab UT.

Most of these arent anywhere close to as challenging as our driveway at home on Maui. I hope to get plenty more after our truck arrives on island. Cant tell ya how much fun and how comfortable it was. Usually Im into a beat to crap old jeep and this thing offroads so much more comfortably and fairly confident as well.

Nice videos . The Maverick looks very capable in stock form . Did you ever figure out what air bags would work best in the rear ? I will not have my Tremor for about two more months . I have been towing a trailer quite a bit lately with my XL . I was thinking tow /hall mode would be good for off-roading ,as it moves the shift points about 500 RPM higher . Thanks

So righteous! I think it's hard to pick a bad trail in Moab - but you can pick the "wrong" one! Looks like the Tremor handled everything pretty well.

I love watching Matt's Offroad Towing videos where he is going out daily to pull vehicles out of sand, mud, snow, and rocks in Utah and Nevada that were driving 2WD, AWD, pulling trailers, driving big motor homes, and even a bus. He can't believe people take vehicles where they shouldn't go. He also pulls out 4WD when they went where they shouldn't of gone.

Awesome, Maverick Tremor very capable off roader. I would like to see the pictures of your truck skid plates and underneath the front bumper condition after these off road drives :)

Still waiting on it to get to Maui. Once I load it up with my regular town run I will see what i need as far as air bags. Likely the Airlift in-spring type though.

Awesome videos, they never seem as impressive, as in person! It seems to have had more wheelspin than I would’ve expected? We’re you using the “Tremor” Modes and/or manually locking the center and/or rear diff?
I honestly forgot to use the modes on most of the stuff. Some of the videos did have a wheel in the air but didnt look like it and that was when I used the diff and f/r lock. For what I was doing at most it would hesitate then go with no aids at all. I will play around with it more when I am close to home. But the couple times I used the aids it just crawled. Also the traill control was super easy to use and fun. However it seemed to be a throttle against brakes battle and I didnt want to work it too hard in the desert. Will make it easy for my wife to go up our driveway though.

So righteous! I think it's hard to pick a bad trail in Moab - but you can pick the "wrong" one! Looks like the Tremor handled everything pretty well.
Yep I stuck to the simpler stuff, I really wanna go back there someday in a rented Bronco Sport or something, ideally an old beater, but I think I have spoiled my wife too much now. A ZJ might be nice out there to hit some harder stuff.

Not much, but I think it may lean towards the uptravel more. We had a few hard hits in places but we never felt like we found the bumpstops. The long wheelbase both made it lift tires more, yet kept it feeling steady to tip back down.

My favorite is BSF Recovery!

I will get some when it gets on island, unless you wanna swing by San Diego and hop a fence :ROFLMAO: , its waiting for the boat to be ready to load. I did touch the belly twice but on dirt/gravel up on the mountain. I touched the rear bumper once in Moab. Neither were enough for more damage than a scuff at most. I do wanna lift it and get 245/70s under it though.

Plenty to see on the easy trails too! We rented a kitted out JL on our trip, which was a more talented offroader than I am, but it was nice to have confidence that I wouldn't try anything it wasn't capable of. Wasn't particularly cheap, but 1000% worth every penny for the experience.

Lots of those videos show the revised front fascia and approach angle and how improved they are. An FX4 would be bashing its chin on many of those.

Did you have the RDU locked in third video down where you were climbing the steps?

Either way - hell yeah man!!!

EDIT: and those improved approach/breakover/departure angles DO matter. Currently driving a Model 3 and the Tesla AWD system is amazing - I would say even better than the Tremor's BUT I have zero ground clearance and zero approach or departure angle. I can barely get into my driveway.

The other part as others have pointed out is flex or articulation on the suspension. While the Maverick Tremor doesn't have much the Model 3 has NOTHING.

I mean it as the highest compliment - the Mav Tremor is the best soft roader by a wide margin.
