I am a new 2024 order. My dealer was only able to enter 6 orders yesterday when the "bank" opened, because the system was so slow. I am one of the six and he gave me a photo copy of order listed in his WebDo system that shows; the Order number, Priority code, Status, etc. BUT he was not able to give me a copy of this order with pricing to sign. Also, I have not received any confirmation from Ford. Should I be concerned, Should I take other actions to make sure I get an order to Ford?

the GREAT general mngr (Dean) Auto Nation Westlake Ohio got my order in while on the phone with me around 7pm local time today. evidently the build site went live with no real problems. however the portal for actual orders to be submitted had some glitches(again?) i would of loved to have been a fly on the wall when whatever poor bastard had to explain just how in the HELL we(Ford IT) were'nt ready!?!. i cant say enough good things about the folks at Auto Nation Ford in Westlake, Ohio, they've treated me well for over 30yrs. now the wait begins my friends...

The local AutoNation folks must have set good customer service standards for their franchises. The guys at AN Ford East by me in Wickliffe are great as well

Typically you should get a order confirmation from Ford. Make sure your dealer has your correct email address.

I'm waiting on waiting.

Talked to the dealer Thursday about rolling over my order. They took my notes and said they are all set to begin entering in the rollover orders.

Haven't heard anything yet, so I might contact them a little later to see about removing the hard roll up cover and seeing if they can do that in house at the dealer.

So after I get through waiting on waiting, I can just wait.

i got the exact same email confirmation. i dont mean to sound too snarky but couldnt someone in this vast Corporate Enterprise have objected to using a photo of a now discontinued color no longer available to notify customers of their new truck order? i bleed Ford blue, i admit it freely. but how do you defend this kind of stuff? for the $$ Ford pays to their advertising/pr and communications folks you would tend to expect that they could do better. the team probably had MONTHS to prepare for this day and this is what they came up with? its not the worker bee's fault, they just submit their ideas to their boss(or bosses) who should of caught this. IMHOi it indicates a disturbing lack of attention to detail. i am just saying.

If they paid attention to detail the "Flying" pickup displayed on my backup screen would be the same color as the pickup I am backing up!!!!

Really. They wanted to add $1200+ paint and dent protection plus other paperwork fees.. Nope.

I have an unscheduled 2023 XLT Hybrid, so the dealer has submitted a 2024 order for me. It was entered by the dealer 7/18 about 9:30am. I received a confirmation email from Ford a few minutes later.
The new spec is about the same as my old spec.
2024 XLT, Hybrid, Hitch, Floor liners w/o carpet, Full size spare, Atlas Blue.
The dealer told me he could not order a front license plate bracket?

PERHAPS FORD NEEDS TO ALLOCATE ORDER LOGINS??? When order bank opens send a login id to dealership allowing him to login And place one order. Then they could accept the order number and classify it as a reorder or new order, etc. Ford could then classify up to a certain percentage of places orders as replacement orders for any cancelled orders. Etc....

I'm still waiting for order confirmation from Leif Johnson in Austin. I'm trying to rollover my 23 Lariat Hybrid Lux in Area 51 to a Lariat Hybrid with moon roof in the Terrain color.

I'm also waiting for confirmation from Leif or Ford for 23 to 24 rollover for an XL hybrid, will be interested to see if you hear anything. I asked last week if I would need to sign anything and never heard back. Last year the process took several days.
