Was contacted by Granger on 6/17 and signed docs same day. Wiring money over today or tomorrow, and will schedule a transporter for next week. They said 2-3 weeks wait due to the backlog of vehicles in front of me.

Have they contacted you yet?
No, truck is still en route. I did email them to see when they thought I should book flights but they didn't have a good answer as the arrival can vary and apparently finance is backed up.

not true. .... many orders got skipped, or canceled, balanced out.. or no longer in the system
I hope you realize that this discussion is specific to Granger orders. The "3" left is correct per Zach with Granger. Granger did not take new orders for 2023 Mavs, due to allocation concerns. Sure, I understand your post regarding Mavs in general with US dealers.

If you signed new docs on or around Sept 16 2022, it would be in there. Did you? A new order was required for 2023.

Mine has finally shipped! It went out via a Montway contracted carrier yesterday, 7/7. Montway backed up big time. Scheduled to arrive 7/10. It will be great to finally get the vehicle. I've had black Friday rollup and rack sitting here for months.

Granger has been super the whole time. Great to deal with.

Unclerunkle, what is your status?

Great to hear!! I got a supposed build date of August 28th. Who knows if that will happen as I see nothing but confirmed on my build from Ford, but I do have a VIN # :) here's hoping. Let us know how it goes!!

just 3 rollover trucks left to get scheduled!

Signed docs today. Zero problems -- Granger found the transitional private offer for 22-23 rollovers, and I was able to get an additional $500 Farm Bureau rebate.

At the end of the day, the window sticker was $29,595. After 1 1/2 years of waiting under the original EB deal, then re-ordering a hybrid, I'm getting a very loaded Hybrid XLT/Lux/360/SIBL/Cleat Tie Down Kit/Floor Liners less carpet/Sliding Rear Window for $23,355.
Why did granger say they have no my23’s that will roll to my24?

also how did you get $6240 off of the sticker? I don’t know how much private offers were but I’m curious to see what the cost break down was.

They have the last 3 orders already with VIN's, so those will get built as '23 MY.

The various discounts:

$1750 from the Ford rollover PCO
$500 from Farm Bureau
$3000 off MSRP from Granger

That's $5250... then there was a $400 MSRP price hike on the window sticker for W8E0 MAVERICK XLT FWD that I was protected from, and also a $100 destination price hike. The remaining $490 I can't explain. The vehicle cost on the contract was $25,380, less than I expected, so I just signed. Granger really is a company to trust when it comes to pricing and doing right for the customer.

What is the W8E0 exactly? Why is there a price hike?

The W8E0 is the model designation for the hybrid. Ford hiked prices around Feb-March, so those prices appear on the window sticker. Actual price though is the contract price (Sept 2022).

Ah Ok, sorry I'm not up to speed with all the internal codes etc., been waiting for a cool 21 months since my initial MY22 order so those details slipped my mind. I wonder what my XLT Lux will wind up being, in the end, hoping they find me some additional incentives. Added the spray-in bedliner, rear pass-through window and a "mandatory to me" engine block heater.. Hybrids and cold don't mix, the heat-exchanger (aka. Heat Riser) isn't modulated properly, or at least wasn't on the MY22 Hybrid, and caused the catalytic convertors to glow bright red from a cold start when idling, which was systemic to all Hybrids (and seemingly more so with Push to start/remote start equipped Hybrids), the fix was not to let it idle to warm up and not to have the heat running, run it with the hood open when idling and not park in the garage (official from Ford).. This solenoid effectively closes off the exhaust and prevents exhaust velocity from forcing its way through the substrate of the catalytic converters and modulates based on coolant temp, which first turns on the electric heater inside the cockpit which runs off the hybrid battery till the coolant temp is below a minimum threshold (somewhere in the 150 degrees area?, could never get a clear answer from Ford). This drastically reduced range in the hybrid battery (but unsure at what rate in relation to the cost of the engine block heater being plugged in overnight). Plus the start-up in winter was often rough and idled poorly, so getting in it and driving right away never was a good option... and good having warm oil circulating no matter the engine, is never a bad thing.

Being informed against storing the truck, by Ford, in your garage for risk of fire, means my truck was out in the elements with the catalytic convertors glowing red and getting angry all winter, all but making the vehicle unable to drive when idling and "warming up" in the cold. A radiator coolant heater would be an even better idea for all hybrids until if/when there is a fix for this annoyance. I found this to be an issue when starting with the remote start app and the push-to-start feature on my Lariat. A big reason I went with the key start XLT is to potentially mitigate this potential for my truck starting on fire, maybe my cats won't glow red in this trim?
To my knowledge, there was no fix for the MY22 / MY23 using remote or push-to-start, and likely the dealer is just telling people not to use that feature (which is what I was told), which is funny because all Lariats have it LOL.
