Normal for 23 Rollover to be Unscheduled?

A group of us placed seven (7) Hybrid XL retail orders when 2023 order banks opened last September.

Two (2) of the trucks are priority code 02 (Ford picked up).

Five (5) of the trucks are priority code 03 (top dealer code).

Should we be concerned that these haven't been scheduled, yet? Particularly the ones that are still at a dealer code? I'm concerned the 03 priority codes may have not had their COVP done correctly because they are for a company and it was messed up on the 2022 rollovers (we're now Fleet so shouldn't have these issues anymore...).

Been seeing people talk about 2024 XL Hybrid orders getting VINs and now I'm concerned there's an issue with ours. Appreciate any insight!

Ford is still working through all the rollover orders so yes it is normal that they're still unscheduled. They scheduled for 2 months and are planning to schedule 2 more after Thanksgiving.

However, they should be at priority 2 if they were set up correctly as rollovers. I would contact your dealer and see if there's anything they can do for you. I'm not sure if fleet is processed the same as customer orders when it comes to priority.

The five that are at 03 are retail orders. Are you certain all rollovers should be at 02 or higher?

If the COVP was done and the order numbers match, then Ford is supposed to grab those orders and place them at priority 02. Maybe something wasn't done at the dealer or maybe something wasn't supposed to be done at Ford but from what I understand that is the process (and is what happened to my order that is being built).

That being said, if your dealer placed you at an 03 and did not place any other orders at an 03 then you should have priority at that dealer and should be picked up first regardless (constrained items notwithstanding). If the dealer placed every order at an 03 then no one has priority.

There were a few glitches by Ford getting the change to a 2. If everything was done correctly and you received notice of the 2024 order accepted by Ford your dealer can contact their assigned Ford inventory specialist to see if they can change the priority to a 2.
