Installed the second cubby at the back of the bed and it makes you two bolts short. Didn't want to use whatever I could so checked with Parts Dept. The searched and searched for the cubby as part of the bed, and even under accessories. Found nothing! I found the YouTube video where I got the part number from the box in the video and when I gave it to him, he finally found it ... IN EXTERIOR MOULDINGS!
Anyway, they found the bolts. They come a pkg of four so I bought the pkg and with tax came to 16.05.
So, if you did the same and want the original, here they are!

I ordered a pack of bolts expecting four, and I only got one. 😕 Turns out an order is for one bolt.

Do your self a favor and buy a vernier caliper and a thread gauge and get your fasteners after market to save some bucks. For around $25 you'll have 2 tools that will last til your dirt nap.

Have Caliper, but for a bit over 3 bucks per bolt would rather have what perfectly matches the ones there.

yep, I'd replace them all with stainless steel with black oxide finish, 25pcs for $10

I just got the side cubby for my XL.

Went to Lowes trying to find two fasteners that were at least black and not silver.

They actually had auto drawers in their special fastener section.

I found an almost exact match, looks OEM. Same 10mm size head and length. One difference was a barely smaller washer. I put the two Lowes' bolts in the holes at the top of the box since they are smaller diameter.

Only costs $1.78 for a 2 pack.

I wish I had known that! I put two cubbies on my XL. Because I wanted the bolts to visually match, I paid about $4 each for 4 Ford OEM bolts. But for the price and appearance, those Lowe’s bolts are more than good enough.

Another option, as Lowe's isn't local and this is actually cheaper than home depot options

Thank you for the suggestion. I installed storage cubbies on both sides using the M6 1.0x25mm screws from AutoZone and they work great.

To anyone else thinking about putting in storage cubbies, please note that the cubby is about 1 cm shorter at the bottom than the cover so if you have a spray-in bedliner you may need to do a touch-up. I used Herculiner spray to cover the exposed paint at the bottom and it looks great.

It's ridiculous how difficult, impossible, it is to get the extra bolts you need for this simple task. It took me two trips the dealership and then bolts they sold me did not actually match. The washers were a little too big. But I figured, "whatever." I'm an easy-going guy and it's just a truck bed. But after a month they are rusting. And I paid around $8 a piece.

My first Ford since 1993 and I'm already kind of disappointed if this is how it's going to be.
