Mine is Shadow Black without factory BAP but I turned it into one. Dechromed the taillights and 3rd brake light. Blacked out the Ford emblems and surrounds in front and back. Covered the grille bars with black overlays. Had the Lariat wheels painted black. Added black addons in the interior. When they get more Maybett black seat covers back in stock will cover the brown seats.

Only thing didn't do was the little bit of black in the headlights.

And it cost less than the BAP package.

How bright are the rear lights dechromed?

@Oldman may I ask what the wheel painting cost was? I'm considering getting my Lariat wheels powder coated once I take delivery.
Me too on the powder coated. What color for yours? I was thinking bronze

I'm not 100% certain. Originally I was thinking black, but may do a gunmetal or charcoal. I have some other graphic mod ideas in mind and will likely try to coordinate/complement with those.

Yes you will still have the blue parts on the interior but the black ActiveX seats tone down the blue since they are the dominant element. I like the combo with my Carbonized Gray and it should look good with either of the blues, silver, black, white. For some of the other colors it would be nice to have a different interior color choice.

If I could choose I would have gray instead of blue for my interior but it looks okay. So far I really like the ActiveX seats.

Admittedly, I under-ordered my '23 XLT/FX4 rig, never thought I'd miss the push to start button, as well as a power drivers seat as much as I do. So, I intend to get a Lariat on order when the order bank opens, not a fan of the brown-tone seats. I've searched thru a number of threads, it looks like there is still a fair amount of blue in the interior, or is it reduced with the BAP package? If the seats are the only change (interior-wise), maybe it would be better to have a set of Katzkins installed? Or, are the dash and door panels different?

Thanks, HRG
I have a new 2023 Maverick Lariat with BAP, see pics, hope this helps. I didn't really want the brown colored seats and changed my 2022 order to BAP, I have owned my Maverick for a month and really very happy and satisfied with all the features and quality. See attached Pics

I agreed with your thoughts. I originally had the Red Pepper color with the only inside seat color. But the BAP became available, I jumped on it. But the remaining blue inside still bugged me, so I changed the Mav color to Area 51 so the little blue on the inside would at least get closer to the outside color. And it looks great. Never liked the original Lariat seat colors. Love the BAP

That was a good move but now supposedly Area 51 and Alto Blue are going away for MY 24. Glad I got my Alto Blue with BAP built already!

Thanks all for the reply's. I found a '23 Lariat w/the BAP about 25 miles away, so I ran over to take a look at it. While the dark blue on the upper dash & door panels is the same, the light gray on the lower dash and the inset door panels is much darker. Definitely a good look, hopefully this package/combination will be available for '24.

From the sounds of today's info on the 2024s, my 2023 Alto Blue Lariat Hybrid BAP is gonna be a real Unicorn egg as they are dropping Alto Blue for 2024.
