I'm not sure why, but the free cargo management system offered with the SIBL is going to cost me $335. When Ford announced the free CMS with the purchase of the SIBL, I went to my salesman and told him that I wanted the deal. Now that my truck is built and on the way, I viewed the window sticker and it says:
6 D-link Bed Connectors $225
Cargo Management System Mounts $335
and then there's a discount at the end for Maverick Bed Utility Discount -$225
So, it appears that I am being charged $335 for something that I thought was going to be free.
Did I misunderstand the deal or did my salesman order the wrong thing?
Thanks

You misunderstood, I believe if you ordered the mounting rails the D-Link connectors were to be free.

Thanks. Oh, well. I'm sure they'll be handy on occasion.
Not sure but believe that the special 225 discount deal for $335 was incentive for ordering the Spray in bed liner that many had cancelled and the benefit was your moving up earlier in the being selected to be built group!🥰

The "6 D-link connectors" is the WBDO/window sticker name for the sliding cleat cargo rails that are part of the discount. But I think some sales managers got confused by that and so also ordered the crossbar kit which match the $335 price.

If I remember right it was always the $225 bed floor connectors but they described it as a free cargo management system which people assumed was the two rails for the bed sides. Poor description by Ford which could turn a positive into a negative for buyers.

It is for the side rails.

I understood it to be free. I should have my sticker in the next couple weeks so I will need to check.

My window sticker would indicate otherwise  I guess it's not free, but I'm not mad about having it.
In the description, it should say "Net Price Change $830", otherwise I assume I'm just paying for the SIBL.

I don't suppose anyone knows what the correct discount code for the sibl would be? It's probably not too late for me to get the discount, since I haven't taken delivery just yet.

You are getting the discount. Your dealer added an extra item that's being charged. Since it's already built (and consequently the dealer invoiced for it) that's not going away, but if you're lucky maybe the dealer will go "mea culpa" and commensurately discount it.

There was a lot of confusion both with the salespeople and the ford ordering system regarding the free cargo management system for orders with SIBL. It had to be placed in the system with the correct code. It would be the 6 D link cargo management system in their ordering system but it would be the last item in that section not the first one. I think it is 61D. Anyway, when we found out about it, we immediately went to our dealership and requested the cargo management system and gave them the Dora code. We knew about the deal before they did and evidently before the system did. I brought them the article released from Ford so they knew it was legit. Anyway, it did not update in the system, so it showed it would cost $225, but the manager stated it would be deducted from the new customer order sheet they had to generate to reflect the addition of the cargo management system. The CMS is just the bedrails and 2 tie-down cleats, that I think replaces two tie downs in the bed for the Lariat which is supposed to have a total of 10 tie downs.

Anyway, there was nothing costing $335, so I think someone mistook the CMS for crossbars, which should be easy enough for them to exchange and correct on your order. Our lariat order had the proper CMS and deducted the $225 that had previously been added. So all is well.

Not sure whether changes can be made after scheduling, but I think so, especially for an accessory item such as this.

Hope everything works out for you.

Or just remove the crossbars and credit you the cost, then they can order and install the CMS for no charge because it really was not your error. Most dealerships will acknowledge the mistake and try to make things right in these cases.

Or if you like the cross rails, then keep them and have the cost added to your purchase price. However the dealership will still need to order and install the CMS, because it was offered with SIBL for free.

Just a few options to think about.

OP says it's already built and shipped with both the bedrails and, presumably, the crossbars. As such it's baked into the vehicle's MSRP and been invoiced to (paid for by) the dealership.
