Looks like you used part of the $500 "loan" money to get a haircut at Great Clips and then went to the credit union next door to deposit the rest!!!! I think you have this all figured out!!Sorry folks for not including a picture of my 23 maverick. I was baby sitting my 4 year old grandson for the last few days. Harder than working.
Continuation of the process that led to my (temporarily free) Maverick: I had saved up the cash for the transaction but the dealer was really pushing a Ford loan at 7%. I didn't want any part of it but they suggested I could take the loan and put 90% down and pay the remaining 10% when I got my first bill without paying any interest. They offered to knock about $500 more off the price from what we had already negotiated. I took it. The dealer said they are allowed more new cars the more they use the loan path. I didn't care but it knocked more $$ off of the price and I don't have to pay any interest. it worked for me.
