True, I seen a local dealer had a 2023 Used Maverick XL Hybrid 4,000 miles for $34,999, only $10k over MSRP

Forgive me if someone else already asked this question, but I don't have time right now to read thru all 22 pages of this thread. I received an email from Ford that my truck was scheduled to be manufactured the week of June 5th. I didn't hear anything from them, so I figured everything was fine. On the 15th I get an email from Ford saying that "While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of June 5, 2023, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty". I went on the Ford website and it indicated that my truck is "In production" with a date of June 8. What does all this mean? Am I actually getting built or am I in limbo until they get whatever part is apparently constrained. My build is an xlt tremor with SIBL and CMS. No other added features.

I got the same thing and got my built email last night

I finally got my "built" email, too. Now it's just a matter of waiting for it to get here. Hopefully, it won't get crushed in a train wreck during shipping.

That's the good news. The bad news is, depending on how the dealership behaves when it gets here, and what kind of trade in on a 2017 RAV4 they offer, I may just walk. My last three cars have been Toyota's. I have high expectations. Already have the Toyota dealer looking for a couple of cars built my way. We'll see.

Ford tracking (the ABSOLUTE WORST web site n the internet . . . what's with the GD not a robot crap?) says it went into production a week ago, now changed to in production 6/19 and Built 6/20.
I HATE Ford Tracking. Must use incognito in Chrome, clear data in Firefox, always works in Edge. I only use Edge for that. Multi billion dollar company with a one track mind programmer.

Anyone else who got the scheduled email last week not have their status showing correctly in the order tracker? I was excited to finally be able to check up on my order status now that I have a VIN, but the status just says "Order Confirmed". Anyone else seeing this? Should I double check with support that I'm actually scheduled?

I guess the problem was that I was expecting it to work and show information consistent with what they already sent me last week.

The tracker and Ford customer service are courtesy sidelines. You didn't order from Ford you ordered from a dealer. They should give you info, more accurate info than the traker or CS has. If the dealer thinks it is inconvenient to give you info then you chose the wrong dealer.

I got emails from Ford and my dealer confirming the schedule. Tracker still doesn't show it.
