Luv my Mav when I actually have it and it is running properly but getting a little ridiculous. I wanted to share a summary timeline of my Mav journey. Lots more details if you have questions or thoughts.
March 14: At dealer for airbag recall and interior passenger side leak and mold issue.
(Previously posted in forum for passenger side water leak issues)
April 14: Airbag recall finished and replacement carpets arrived.
April 26: Informed that dashboard and trim pieces were scratched during servicing. Replacement parts ordered.
May 19: Dash and other replacement parts arrived at dealer.
May 24: Picked up Mav from dealer.
May 25: No power. Mav in deep sleep mode. Towed back to dealer.
June 5: In spite of new battery installed and needing to charge twice because of continued draw, dealer unable to find cause. Starting to pull fuses/modules.
June 6: Dealer believes the issue is a “faulted out headlight switch” that caused the headlights to come on while the vehicle is off. (I never noticed this) More parts ordered.
June 9: New switch installed but did not correct the problem. New “body control module” has been ordered. Beyond frustrated. 3 monthly payments (next week will be 4) and had the vehicle for less than 18 hours during this timeframe
And, the icing on the cake is, yes, my Mav is listed in the recall for the 2nd engine fire issue. Ugh!
