Had both recalls done yesterday. The air bag and the fire recall. Drove my hybrid to work today, everything running normal. Leaving work tonight, put in the key and the dash starts flashing lots of different error codes. Cannot put truck in drive. I've never had any problems with my Maverick till now. Ford is arranging a tow. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what's wrong.

Update got truck back. The dealer only had it 2 days. It was a loose main harness connection. They said it must have come unplugged or loose when dash was apart for the recall.

I could certainly be a coincidence. However, I would almost be willing to bet the ranch that the service department will tell you that it is....... ;) Good Luck!

Maybe lost communication with the system after they did the recalls. Hopefully they could figure it out and give you answers

Had the multiple flashing error codes happen to me last week while driving. Then wouldn't start and couldn't get out of park. Had it towed to dealer who diagnosed it as the wiring harness. Having it repaired this week. I had the heat exchanger CEL issue earlier this year where truck was in shop for months waiting for the part. XL hybrid 22.

Man…the hybrids are so problem prone…I was tempted by the fuel economy, but the extra power at the expense of economy won me over. Now, I see it was worth not having all of the headaches you poor folks are facing…hope they get you fixed up soon.

I was seriously thinking of trading my 22 EB for a 23 hybrid lariat exactly like mine except for Lux package. With Carvana offer of 34.7, I can get the new hybrid for a decent price. One problem: I now have 0% interest rate. Second problem: Just seems to be too many hybrid problems at this point. I also drive mostly highway miles and getting at least 30mph with the EB. Decided not to switch. Hope it all words out for all Maverick owners!!(y)

You realize both powertrains were affected by the airbag recall, right?

How did you get engine recall done so quick? Ford says letters are going out on the 12th.

Agreed; I was under the impression there isn't even a fix for it yet.

Yes, the one that didn’t fix anything. Why are they still doing it?
Million dollar question. Ford stated in writing in the latest recall that the first one didn't work, so IMO no one should be lining up to get the first recall which was always sort of a hack job anyhow.
