It plays an audible beeping inside the vehicle to indicate to the driver that they are approaching closer to an object to the rear; it's sonar-based. As opposed to CP360 which only indicates if something is moving towards the vehicle from the rear sides (cross-traffic) and is sufficiently metallic or otherwise radar-reflective.
