2023 Cactus Gray Hybrid XL, SIBL and Pilot 360 arrived 5/10/23, ordered 9/19/22. After riding in the truck the most common remarks I get from riders is that they can’t believe how little it costs and how long I waited for it. The Maverick replaces a 2012 Mazda 5, purchased new for $18000 (not including tax, etc). Taking into account inflation the Maverick is lower priced but much more vehicle. Reading MaverickTruckClub daily and tracking my build for almost 8 months I was beginning to wonder if my expectations were so high that the actual truck might be a disappointment. That is not the case at all. So far it has met or exceeded my expectations, worth the wait. Time will tell if it matches the reliability of the Mazda (160000 low maintenance miles).

Congratulations and know the longer you drive it, the more you will like. From end to end and from top to bottom, the Maverick is a unique vehicle, especially the hybrid. You now join the multitudes of us who are addicted to our Mavericks.

I'm just happy I managed to get my Hybrid XLT at MSRP on the time of order with the Farm Bureau rebate. It is definitely a lot of car for the money.

Talked to a couple of Ecoboost owners who paid 5k over. They both said it's in the driveway and they didn't have to wait "forever" to get one. I replied my hybrid wait was a long year while conceding that they also have zero buyer's remorse.

I've had a crazy variety of cars over 30 years, (3 MR2s, a first-gen VW Scirocco and a later Jetta TDI, an Audi, 2 Corvettes, a Datsun 240z, a Wrangler, an 80s Toyota truck and a 2nd gen Tacoma, a Mazda3, a Volvo, and a few others) and I think that the Maverick is my all around favorite. It's simple but fun, low-key but unique, zippy but economical, easy to park, useful for moving people and stuff, and so far perfectly reliable. I don't feel the need to show off with an expensive vehicle and I don't want to worry about parking something in a sketchy or unknown area. It's really a tremendous value, smack-dab in the middle of a bunch of sweet-spots.

I have an eco boost and I’m happy with the mileage around 29.5 in eco mode. My 23 hybrid is scheduled for production but still on the fence about selling the eco boost

Sorry I don't understand. I have a Maverick but I ordered it early small town dealer, got it after 6 months, no markup. Last month we got interested in a rechargeable hybrid because a lot of our trips were 20-40 miles. Toyota Rav 4 Prime came into our sights. Like I have posted before, I feel Toyota's are over hyped. I found a couple both marked up $5000. That drove me to a 2023 VW ID4 all electric. Love it. Less than the Toyota. Maybe it is just my limited understanding but i never could justify paying over MSRP for a depreciating asset.

Cars are not depreciating assets, at least not in the last 2 years...

But agree that most toyotas are over hyped. You'll be tired of their ugliness long before they falls apart lol.

Yes I paid $500 over plus a sketchy doc fee of $600. Ordered in September 17. Through fleet guy. Seeing this same truck but not as nice for $38-45k. Paid $41 out the door. Had a Nissan 83 4wd and 98 ranger, then 2004 f150 natural gas 7700 gvw all great. I love this Mav, 700 miles so far. Getting tint on front side windows today.

I too was on the fence about taking my hybrid when it came in and selling the eco boost, especially when my order was screwed up. Although I miss some of the features due to the screwup, I'm still glad I got the hybrid. No remorse at all.

My hybrid took 517 days to get to me. Hated the wait, but love the vehicle. Better than I expected. Love driving it. Average 43 mpg mixed highway/city. Great looking little truck and comfortable.
