My modules popped on 4/25 and was marked as built on 4/30 but still has not shipped.

Contacted Ford support and they say:
"The secondary status is Received this means the vehicle has been received by a carrier at a ramp location. The current location is Ramp 5S, Ciudad Industri, SO."

Thinking the carrier lost track of the truck in the parking lot or maybe they just care about FIFO about as much as Ford does. Shipping to Atlanta, and it is a rail transportation hub so I would think it would go quick.

Mav wants to be in my garage, not the hot Mexico sun.

Anyone else seeing this?

Oh I got bad news for you.
When I got the shipped email from Ford it took 2 weeks to get local. Not bad, seems ok. Could be faster.
After that it took another 5 weeks sitting at the train yard mere miles away to get onto a transporter to get to the dealer.
Be patient grasshopper

I can live with the shipping delay. Just don't want an un-announced recall like the air bags last year that delayed some for 6 months.

With the adoption of precision scheduled railroading, it is now taking sometimes 3-4 times longer to receive anything by rail. Shippers have been complaining of poorer service as well as delays. Most likely, this is due to the train that will be dispatched to Atlanta with your vehicle needs a large number of auto rack cars before they will release the train for delivery. Furthermore, it’ll have to change hands through multiple carriers (most likely CPKC (formerly KCS), Union Pacifc/BNSF and then to either Norfolk Southern or CSX. Long story short, your delivery has a lower priority due to decreased profitability. I had the same issue with my truck being delivered to Baton Rouge, LA’s auto yard. It’ll also take a couple of days to unload from the train car, sit in a auto yard for a week or so before a finally loading on a truck for dealership delivery.

Probably the same guy who still needs to hit "submit" on the software fix I've been waiting 10 weeks for.

I am also in Atlanta. The rout mine took was odd. It went from Mexico to East St. Louis where it sat for a few days, then up to Chicago where it sat for a while, then down to Atlanta where it took over a week be sent to the dealership. I figure that it traveled about twice as far as it would have if there had been a direct train to Atlanta. Once it was moving it took over three weeks to get to the dealership. Yours may be waiting for some sort of odd connection like this to be available.

I have only seen four Mavericks here in Atlanta likely because it is difficult to ship cars here so it costs Ford more so they tend to select Mavericks to build that will go to places like Texas or Southern California which are easier and cheaper to ship trucks to.

Yea, it seems like your truck was carried by FerroMex, transferred to Union Pacific at the Nogales, AZ port of entry then shipped over network to Centreville (E.St. Louis) then to Chicago. What sucks is that UP could have transferred it to Norfolk or CSX then instead of bringing it to Chicago for transferring.

If this is the case, yours is definitely being transferred by Norfolk Southern. I live about 5 miles from the auto yard it’s sitting in.

Same. Built May 7, 2023. Shipped May 9th. Went up to St. Louis, then Chicago, then I went on vacation. Arrived at ramp #2 in Atlanta on the 25th. Not yet scheduled with any local transport company. The dealer is Jim Tidwell Ford (owned by some British hedge fund). Nice enough folks. They stated that local transport is a problem. Asked if we could just go get it ourselves, flatbed it, get our own transport and was told "no."

Mine has been stuck in Chicago at "Ramp 79 Main Center" for a little over two weeks now. Built on 4/23, shipped out on 5/2, no updates since 5/14.

Seems like your truck is still in Mexico(?). So your "Domino's Pizza Tracker" indicator is still stuck on "Built"?

That's a bummer. Mine showed built on 4/16, shipped by 4/22. I picked it up on 5/15.
Something is not right with the movement of your truck. I wonder if it was damaged somehow. I would think they have trains pulling out almost every day heading to different parts of the country.

Is that your final ramp location? Maybe just waiting for a truck load to your dealer? 1-3 week delay after getting off the train is common and the dealers never seem to have an answer. They just show up.
