Built January 10 2023. Still not shipped.

The first delivery estimate I got was the first week of February, which has come and gone. Then my salesman called and said first week of March. According to the tracker it's still "awaiting shipment." Just sitting in the desert of Mexico for over a month now. Super frustrating, especially because it says "this could take a few days to a week." It's been five weeks now. I get that the rail system is messed up right now, but it's still so frustrating to know my Maverick exists and is just sitting somewhere.

Anyone else in the same boat?

That's Ford for you. FORD stands for Figuring Out Really Difficult. I am not even sure they know what is going on. Oh, for the old days of just walking onto a lot, picking out and buying a vehicle and then driving it home.

My Maverick (2022 turned 2023) Hybrid XLT was built on Feb22 and still waiting shipment. Dealer first said March 18-MArch 24th delivery and today he says April 21-April 28th. Dealer says he does not know what's the reason and Ford says what's in Tracking webpage... Who in the world know what is really happening?

Mine was built Feb 20th and it shipped 03/23....

Should be enough trucks heading toward Minneapolis to have loaded on a railcar and shipped by now if it is in ready for shipping status. Unless there is one or more add-ons it is waiting for or it didn't pass final inspection. Your dealer should be able to contact the Regional Manager that can have someone check what is going on.

A few years ago the drug cartel was loading drugs on the cars being shipped out of that plant. I think it was in Minneapolis that the railroad employees found them and police found hundreds of pounds. It does take some time to pull the truck panels and load them up then put the panels back on.
