Believe higher than expected number of hybrids Ford scheduled yesterday are needed to meet CAFE numbers. Win win for those that ordered hybrids and Ford.

I will do so, but based on the dealer's sketchy reputation (which I learned about only AFTER the oder had been in place for several months), I doubt they will do anything to accommodate me. They are right next to University of Tennessee, so I imagine Cyber Orange (very close to the UT orange in color) would be a pretty easy sale... with a lot more profit for them.Check with your dealer and see if they will change the color for you.
I believe someone asked this earlier and the answer was a couple weeks? Not sure, but I think that's what I saw.when can I expect the order tracker to update? Mine has my VIN listed but the scheduled week of part doesn’t show anything and I got the build week email last week.
Thanks. I’ll search it and see what’s up.I believe someone asked this earlier and the answer was a couple weeks? Not sure, but I think that's what I saw.
Well said and worth repeating! You have zero control over anything except how you respond to adversity, and disappointment. Good Luck!
I got my build week and VIN email on 4/13. Tracker still shows as "Order Confirmed". I've used chat and called CS to confirm that I am actually scheduled for the week of 6/24, and asked about the tracker updating. Was told it probably won't update again until it actually starts production. YMMV...Thanks. I’ll search it and see what’s up.

Interesting you got a build week in April for the same week as me.I got my build week and VIN email on 4/13. Tracker still shows as "Order Confirmed". I do agree & understand your post. My issue is that unlike you, who had rollover price protection, I don't. So most likely I'm going to have to pay anywhere from $500-2500 (or more) for the same truck I ordered 8 months ago. So I believe I have a right to be upset when Ford doesn't build a very basic truckWithout trying to sound like I'm attacking anyone. People who ordered in September 2022, relax! This board had thousands of disappointed customers waiting with baited breath, before any of you ordered a vehicle that already had an extensive backlog of orders. I ordered a my22, they converted to a my23. 11+ months in and I'm finally "In Production" after the scheduling date bouncing back and forth like a ping pong ball. I'm in Canada, where we do not get emails, communication, or any sort of apology, so just relax and let their system do it's thing. You have zero control over anything except how you respond to adversity, and disappointment. Good Luck!
