Have you had any communication with the dealer? Did you ever have a VIN for a 22MY? If not, did you work with the dealer to re-enter your order as a 23MY in that brief week around September 15th? If no to both, you may be out of luck because you don't have an order.

Long past time to contact Ford or your dealer. Sounds like you may not have gotten a rollover reorder in 9/22 and now may not be waiting for anything. Keeping in contact with Ford and your dealer is important.

How do you know you don't have a build date? Don't rely on Ford or your salesman to let you know. Contact Ford CS to confirm. Neither one ever contacted me about mine. My Maverick was scheduled almost a month before I found out because I assumed either would contact me. After 17 months mine finally got built and received it after 18 months. Terrible experience all around. Hang in there. It does go quicker once its scheduled. Also, do your homework too. Make sure your private offer is ready before your Maverick arrives! Best of luck.

Just thought of this..did your salesman contact you about updating your order for the '23 conversion? You could be one of the unlucky ones still stuck at priority code 99.

The dealer screwed up and won’t admit it. They keep saying that there the order is in and thats all that they can do. I’ve been told the same thing from other dealers that the vehicle should have been reordered.

I called customer service. They were no help. Said that a Vin number is required. The dealer screwed up the order and won’t admit it.

Learn as much as you can here. Find a different dealer. Get ready to order a MY 24 in July.

16 months ago would be around Jan 2022. Last date for dealers to submit the orders was Jan. 27th. And that was for ecoboost as hybrid ordering was stopped much sooner than that. If you did place an order for an ecoboost before that date, then you're probably right about the dealer screwing up and not inputting the order before the cut off date.

It's a lost cause trying to hold the dealer accountable and not worth the time or effort. Get your deposit back, and go to a better dealer when order banks open for MY24.

I see you just joined MTC yesterday. This is a great resource to keep updated on all things maverick including ordering tips. Good luck.

Yep, I think you are out of luck on your previous order. If you still want a Maverick, make plans to get to a new dealer (don't go back to that same sorry place) and get your order in for a MY24.

Make sure they get your email address, a copy of your Driver's License and don't leave without a dealer signed copy of the DORA and a Sales Agreement with all the final numbers.

Also, create an account on Ford.com with the same email. At some point shortly after your order, you should get a confirming email. If you don't, check that the dealer has everything entered correctly. You can also call Ford Marketing with the Order number and the Sales Code (both listed on the DORA Preview sheet) and they should be able to verify that the order is "clean" which means it is entered correctly in Ford's ordering system and ready to be scheduled when the magic formula of allocations and constraints are met. After things get rolling for production on the MY24, you should be able to see your custom order in your Ford Account settings.

They don't need a vin, only your sales and order code which is found on your order sheet. Were you given one? Try chatting with them if you do. Ask if your order is in the system.
