Awesome news! The three unscheduled folks left in our list haven't logged into the site in months, so I'm assuming they may have moved on, cancelled their orders, etc. Really happy for everyone here!

Edit: And you got a smiley face too! Look at that chart on page 1, it's a thing of beauty!
I'm pleasantly surprised that all the rollovers you're tracking got scheduled! With the constraints early on in the year, I was pessimistic that it would happen.

Ugh I've been playing the figure-out-wtf-they're-saying game as well! The computer enunciation is awful but Google sorted out a lot of the names by me typing it out phonetically. The last tricky one was yesterday when it passed Ashtabula, OH. It sounded like "Estebulio" to me and my wife!

I don't like hearing that it took over a week for yours to cross PA, but I expected it to be slow due to all the mountains. Mine's been sitting in Conway, PA (super easy to understand!) since 6:19 this morning. We're both off next Friday so that would be perfect to pick up but it sounds unlikely given your route.
Ha, you solved one of our mystery towns "Ashtabula". We couldn't figured that one out to save our lives. Good luck . I also thought this part seemed to drag on forever especially if you didn't have a backup vehicle. My poor 22 year old Honda suffered pot hole damage 5 weeks ago and I have been sharing a car with my son. It has been a long 5 weeks.

Quick question for all the Chapman owners who receved their order in 2023. My buddy is going Saturday to pick up his Maverick. Chapman has no transition/rebate code/certificate for his $2,750. They gave him a ford number to call. He did this and Ford said the dealer is being lazy and they need to get the code.

I keep reading here that Chapman is great to work with...what gives? Obviously, he is quite frustrated.

Did anyone else have an issure getting their rebate certificate? If so, how did you finally receive it?

He orginally ordered his hybrid in November 2021 with a reorder in September 2022.

Thanks in advance!

If there is an approved COVP tracking number, it can be worked out with the local sales and Inventory Specialist to get the offer certificate number. Chapman needs to reach out to their rep to get it resolved. Additionally, the Certificate Numbers for Rollovers are as follows:

  • The certificate number has 12 digits. The first 5 is the the dealer code based on the dealership your 22 order was submitted. This would be found on your order sheet.
  • The next 2 numbers are 22. The year of your order.
  • The next 4 numbers are the order number on your 22MY order. Also found on your order sheet.
  • The last number is 1 or 2. Since an order number can be used twice, one for a W8E body code (FWD) and one for a W8F body code (AWD). They would have to try 1 first and if it does pull then try 2.

If your friend has his original DORA order sheet he should be able to locate all those numbers. For Chapman Horsham it should look something like:

160 392 2XX XX1 or 160 392 2XX XX2

They were able to resolve mine. I worked with staff and was persistent.

My problem is that I had two orders with two different dealers, one local and one with Chapman. The certificate number for my local order got screwed up and has the wrong mailing zip so it doesn't populate in Smart Vincent.

When I went to pick up my order, I gave the salesman the correct one and told him to use the other zip, but being the lazy salesman he was, he just used the one that was in SmartVincent anyways which was the Chapman one.

I don't know if Chapman can fix the certificate number for the order that isn't theirs or if they would even both. I tried reaching out to Ashlie telling her I had a VIN and to check, but she said it is too early (aka too busy and won't bother until the truck comes in). I may end up having to walk away from the order because without the private offer it is no longer a deal.

Thanks.

I found this phone number (800-334-4375) for Ford on this forum to get the certificate (it was a different number than the one given to him by Chapman).

He called it and within a few minutes they had a Ford bonus cash certificate generated,, which he forwarded to Chapman. They immeidately accepted it and he is shceduled to pick it up tomorrow.

Another update on Chapman...The certifcate Ford gave my buddy is only for $750. Ford cannot find his $2750 rebate and neither Ford or Chapman apparently have the ability to get it for him.

He sold his car to Carmax this morning and was supposed to pick up his Maverick tomorrow. They are telling him that he can buy it without the rebate and hope Ford sends him a check. Ford disagrees with this.

He has spent the better part of the day talking to Ford and Chapman with no resolution in sight.

As you can imagine, 18 months of waiting and nobody seems to be able to create a certificate for him is really draining him mentally.

Edit: spelling

Final update, Chapman did not have his private offer, refused to deal with Ford directly to get his private offer, and told my buddy to take it or leave. They told him it was him problem not theirs.

Ford was no help either as he called numerous numbers (including the one given by Chapman) and talked to multiple people. They all agreed he should get the rebate but Ford blamed it on Chapman and Chapman blamed it on Ford.

Really crappy experience to say the least, especially after waiting since November 2021.

Mine will be arriving in about a month as it's in production right now. I emailed my certificate numbers to CHapman for confirmation of the $2,750 private offer and $500 Farm Bureau rebate. I'm sure they'll get back to me next week.

That sucks @Dave_in_PA, did he end up picking it up yesterday? I'm not sure what I would do in his situation but maybe he can keep pressing ford into sending him the private offer directly.

As he was selling his car to Carmax on Friday, he saw a 2022 used Maverick on their lot for $35,000. As mad and frustrated as he was, he was still getting if for 4% below dealer invoice. In addition, Ford (not Chapman) found him a $750 rebate. So yes, he purcahsed it and is hoping to get the rest of the rebate from Ford. However, he is not holding his breath.

I ordered mine a week before him so I'm nervous this crap will happen to me as well. I do feel pretty confident as my private offer matches exactly the way fordvideoguy explained in this post:

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-your-private-offer-certificate-number.28078/

I assume all the Chapman hybrids have the following private transition offer number:

1603922XXXX1...replace xxx with your order number as stated below.

"The certificate number has 12 digits. The first 5 is the the dealer code based on the dealership your 22 order was submitted. This would be found on your order sheet.

The next 2 numbers are 22. The year of your order.

The next 4 numbers are the order number on your 22MY order. Also found on your order sheet.

The last number is 1 or 2. Since an order number can be used twice, one for a W8E body code (FWD) and one for a W8F body code (AWD). They would have to try 1 first and if it does pull then try 2."

This is the End?

  • Given what happened to Dave_in_PA's friend, I would get your Ford private offer ahead of time. chilicoke has a good post for anyone having issues with their offer - https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-my22-to-my23-private-offer.29833/post-552720
  • The first thing I did once I had a salesman (Matt) assigned to my final sale, I sent him my Ford private certificate and farmer's bureau discount #. Later that day he confirmed everything was applied to my purchase agreement.
  • The biggest PITA I had was my local credit union, They wanted a purchase agreement signed plus my insurance binder and MA RTA (registry and title) form. Getting that together while getting a flight, a ride to the airport, etc. all in the same day was painful. I got mortgages with less effort but they had me locked in at 3.99% for 60 which was too good to pass up.
  • Not sure if anyone has posted this before but Horsham is a 45min drive from the airport. I know other members posted that Chapman will send you a lyft to the dealership but I was going to my hotel first and picking up the Mav the next morning. I just asked Matt about recommendations to getting to my hotel from the airport and he said just call me when you land and I will get you a Lyft ride. That was a $75 ride so I was more than happy to accept it.
  • The next day I went in and it took about 45mins in and out, with 10 of those mins was me outside checking out the Mav.
  • Overall, it was a really good experience and I would order through them again.

Thanks, I feel pretty confident I have the correct rebate/offer numbers but will confirm this week. Below is what Ford Marketing sent me on Friday:

Direct Offer Name: Maverick Model Year Transition Private Offer
Program Number: 38560
Certificate Number: 1603922xxxx1
Expiration Date: Jul-05-2023

Direct Offer Name: 2023 Farm Bureau Recognition Exclusive Cash Reward
Program Number: 38656
Certificate Number: IL38656XXXXX
Expiration Date: Jan-02-2024

I did not get the Mid-year Price Increase Retail Protection. I assume Chapman would not honor this code. If so, I will call Ford Marketing back tomorrow and get a certificate for that as well.

Now for my initial review, First I should point out that I'm coming from a 2001 Honda CRV that I purchased new in 2000, it was manual drive no thrills car with the highest tech feature being a CD player. I loved that car so no disrespect but things sure have changed since 2000 plus I did go for top of the line trim and LUX package.

I am extremely happy with the truck, I loved the look inside and out and I wouldn't change a thing besides the speakers (more on that later). The drivers's seat was so comfortable (maybe too comfortable if your driving tired) and that fake leather was so soft that it totally felt like luxury. The ride was smooth and the changing between gas and electric was seamless just like my wife's PHEV Pacifica. No hood shuttering, no brake issues, no road noise but than again my Honda sounded like a 90 year old man getting up it the morning on every turn :D.

Yeah, they wouldn't do that which they did state in the emails we received in 2022 about rollovers so I was good with that.

I think I will ask Santa for some speakers this Christmas.

I averaged 45.2 mpg from my drive home with mostly highway miles besides around NYC which is always stop and go traffic. The biggest issue I had was having to give a friendly NYC honk at the guy trying to merge into the side of my truck. I'm pretty sure I could see his odometer reading given how close he was to me. The cherry on the top moment was driving through Connecticut, and a Mav in cactus grey drove by and we both honked and exchange congratulatory waves.

Good luck everyone and hope you get your trucks soon.
