How did you wire up and install the projectors in the doors?

I can see that there would be wires for power already in the door but what wires did you tap in to?

Never said I was done modding, are we really ever done (lol). $$$. Care to do my homework and suggest a big tire that fits currant rims. Just a newbie here.
I've added a 2-inch lift to my truck and am currently running 245/70/17s. However, prior to lifting, I swapped out the stock Pirellis for 245/65/17s. That's the largest size you can confidently run with guaranteed no rubbing at stock ride height.

Here are three photos. First is stock suspension with stock 225/65/17 tires. Second is stock suspension with 245/65/17 tires. And third is lifted with 245/70/17 tires on Fifteen 52 Traverse MX wheels. In addition to the bigger tires, you'll notice how the Eibach lift springs eliminate the "rake" on the truck and really lift the nose up higher. I like that a lot, both for looks but also for the added clearance. The front bumper on the Maverick sticks down pretty dang far stock.

Rechargeable battery, been months and still haven't had to charge it.

With the bigger tires alone, you'll lose like 1 mpg.

If you're looking for a "budget" option, check out the Cooper Discoverer ATs on Walmart.com. I got them for like $120 a tire and really liked them. Also, with 245s, you'll get half an inch of lift just off those, as those tires are 1 inch taller than the stock Pirellis.

As for the lift, believe it or not, the Eibach Pro Lift springs are only like $350. It's more expensive to pay a local shop to install them and do an alignment than it is to get the springs.

There are more expensive lift options out there, with built-in shocks and coils, but the Eibach springs are designed to work with the factory shocks and struts and I am pleased with the results.

Fellow CO owner here and I LOVE what you've done with the place :)

I'm only just starting, and I promise I won't copy _too_ many of your ideas (though I think swapping the dealer license plate frame for a Tonka replacement is going to happen).

Seriously, this thread is wonderful, thank you for sharing what you've done.

Can I ask what your using for your phone mount & the extra pieces around the upper cubby?
This item from Alliexpress then modified slightly with a magnetic phone holder I got at Target. Sorry don't remember brand, but very well known. I can't figure out how to add link to it.

Just looking to share my mods I've done over the past couple months within my pay grade. The Tonka came to me very late in the long game most of us are playing with Ford, (500+) but was my first mod. They were fun a.f. as I've never done anything to my vehicles in the past. My last mod was my favorite because it took some outside the box thinking, drilling, and grinding, being the cargo hooks that attach and slide along the rail system and also lock in place. Now for the list with pics. Thanks for playing.

Exterior: Tonka decals, Tonka license plate frame, Tonka puddle lights, Maverick lettering, mud flaps, fender guards (choose this route to blend with muds flaps) and used it to do the tailgate and hood, bug deflector, door guards (they cover the entire edge of the doors all around), and my fav - the cargo hooks.

Interior: gear shift cover and storage divider, radio cover, dash storage bin with phone mount, USB ambient lights (1 in back lighting up fits garbage can and 1 to light up wireless charging tray area), custom cup lights (Tonka of course), and mirror dash cam. Not a mod but threw in a dash of Dewalt and I listen to music via USB on MY ipod video. (Bonus sync gets it).

Thank you all for giving me the courage to do this kind of sh-t, and the patience to get to 500+. MTC is my daily medicine.
