Don't hesitate. Get em. I've done them twice, mine and my buddies. 1st time 1 hour. The first 45min to educate and familiarize myself, then the other 3 in 15 minutes. I always use a heat gun on any 3m install, but not necessary if above, I'd say 70°. Second time on my buddies, 30 minutes. Try to reuse oem clips, a bit stronger, but not a deal breaker. If you need mud flaps I recommend doing them at the same time. I have both from @MABETT .
Thank you sir!!

Just looking to share my mods I've done over the past couple months within my pay grade. The Tonka came to me very late in the long game most of us are playing with Ford, (500+) but was my first mod. They were fun a.f. as I've never done anything to my vehicles in the past. My last mod was my favorite because it took some outside the box thinking, drilling, and grinding, being the cargo hooks that attach and slide along the rail system and also lock in place. Now for the list with pics. Thanks for playing.

Exterior: Tonka decals, Tonka license plate frame, Tonka puddle lights, Maverick lettering, mud flaps, fender guards (choose this route to blend with muds flaps) and used it to do the tailgate and hood, bug deflector, door guards (they cover the entire edge of the doors all around), and my fav - the cargo hooks.

Interior: gear shift cover and storage divider, radio cover, dash storage bin with phone mount, USB ambient lights (1 in back lighting up fits garbage can and 1 to light up wireless charging tray area), custom cup lights (Tonka of course), and mirror dash cam. Not a mod but threw in a dash of Dewalt and I listen to music via USB on MY ipod video. (Bonus sync gets it).

Thank you all for giving me the courage to do this kind of sh-t, and the patience to get to 500+. MTC is my daily medicine.

I love this! You better be at Carlisle, so I can see all of these year’s mods in person!
That's the plan. Wouldn't dare miss the highlight of my year on purpose.

I can load/unload my e-bike in a heartbeat. There's one on each side.

I use carabiners to lower the tie-down points to secure smaller loads.

Mabbet is just killing it.

In addition to @MABETT side markers, roof light and fender flares, I installed their lighted hood protector today. It did take me 24 hrs to learn how to "fuse tap" first because they were designed to plug into the #6 slot in the fuse box. That slot was already being used up in my rig for the moonroof. So I learned that using #3 slot, also being used, is ideal for tapping.

If you have nothing in #6, great. If you do and have nothing in #3, great, but if you do, then tap #3. As a bonus for using #3, it comes on with remote start.

I've gotta give a shout-out to @AbnRgr and @Mabcim because without them schooling me on fuse tapping, this would have never happened.

I asked for my name on the door and all I get is a shout out on MTC. Thanks Mike. I enjoy our collaboration on our builds. I look forward to the TONKA’s hat trick at Carlisle.

Today was @Maxzina 's bull bar install day with some hesitation because it's designed only for the xlt. I added it to my '23 Hybrid Lariat with co-pilot + and had no compatibility issues. I tested all features related; Acc, 360, lane and pre collision assist, all with success.

I like how it balances out the sports bar and running boards. There was no second-guessing myself... I like it.

That adds to the look very nicely.
Not sure why they say XLT only. I could see maybe not for FX4, because maybe it blocks the tow hooks. That thing is no where near the ACC on 22-24.

"More ruggedness," this weeks goal. I know I'm closer to being "done" than not, and I'm definitely not looking forward to it. I truly enjoy bringing my vision to a reality, something I believe is all that's really matters. Anyways, I installed and painted @Maxzina 's door and tailgate bowl covers in textured matte black (were chrome & glossy), added their roof rack cross bars, and topped it off with a custom cargo basket.
