I’ve tried searching the forum to see if there was already a post about this but could not find one. If someone finds the link for one, I would greatly appreciate it.
Anyways, I just got some new wheels put on the Mav recently and there was a rubbing noise on the right side about a day later. Got it aligned and asked the tech to check that side for what could be rubbing.
He noticed that the rotor has about a 1/4” wide scratch around the entire rotor. From the looks of it, something got lodged in the brake pads and just completely grinded away on the rotor.
Now I am having to replace both rotors and brake pads due to keeping the wear even.
It feels like not many people have had to change their brakes since the truck is relatively new so it’s been hard trying to find some good options.
I have found this one brake kit available and would like some opinions or better options.
