Canadian order to delivery wait times

May 2022 order, XLT Hybrid Lux and CP360 The dealer advised me that it was in "unscheduled clean before Christmas 22. As of the first of Feb 23, Ford Chat says that is in 'order processing and should be scheduled in the next available week. As of March 17, status is still order processing. The dealer says the delay is the hybrid batteries. I've only seen one hybrid show up at my dealer, ironically almost identical to my order, just the sliding rear window that I didn't order, even the colour Cyber Orange is the same. Hopefully some good news this week.

Order banks are still open for both engines in Canada - our allocation currently exceeds demand for the ecoboost, but the hybrid of course is still constrained.

5 months for delivery of a normally-equipped eco sounds about right. The VIN is issued when your order is first scheduled to a week, which normally happens a month or so prior to the build (Ford has been doing this further in advance recently, allocating entire months at a time). Next, they issue the window sticker about a week before production, just after the scheduled week is refined to a specific day. Figure a week in production, and then delivery to the GTA is currently taking about a month.

If current conditions persist, you can work backwards from a late June delivery.

My simple question for everyone is (and I will be dropping in to have an informed discussion with my dealership, here in Woodstock, ON). Is there a chance for a possible delivery by July 2023?

If you're not one of the ones scheduled for the big batch they did for May last week, and if they're done with May scheduling, then no.

I doubt it very much. Ordered mine (same specs as yours) in May 2022. Re-ordered in Oct as a 23, and heard NOTHING. Dealer tried removing the liner and a couple other things but they aren't picking up the order. I believe it's the Luxury package that is the problem.

I'm so frustrated. Spent more on fuel and repairs while waiting, than I even want to think about.

I went in to see my dealer on Tuesday mar21st/23. I got the WBDO print out. He showed me the list of orders from his dealership, it’s long. (I didn’t see any personal info, just what’s ordered and if there is a VIN). Now I don’t know if they are generally 2022 roll overs but a couple were ordered in mid October 23 and were hybrids and had VINs. I went to ford Canada and did a chat. With info from the WBDO they confirmed they have my order. Having said all that, I understand ford had a big scheduling for May ‘23 builds. I don’t have my VIN so not scheduled, so possibly nothing in my garage for the summer. At the onset of this whole process my dealer did say, as long as it’s an eco, maybe ‘23 but could easily be a ‘24. Another note: since my Nov’22 order, my “new” WBDO has an increase of $500 base cost, even the ford web site “build your vehicle” has increased base cost as well.

That is great news for you . I have taken a hint from you and other Tremor purchasers . I ordered an XL 4K tow back in December 2021 ,It is supposed to come end of May . That's 17 months . I ordered an XL Tremor about a month ago . Thinking maybe the Tremor will come first ha ha . Enjoy your new truck.

After you get a Vin it still take 3 months to get it . So you would be very lucky to have it by mid summer . That's my guess . If my truck comes in May like they are saying ,I will have been 17 months from order .

Did you switch to ecoboost at some point or has it been 17 months for an eco? If so, wow!

I originally ordered an Ecoboost . XL 4K 400W . In Canada ,we are second class citizens to Ford . I did order a Tremor form a deferent dealer ,hope that makes a difference. I originally went with the XL because I was going to do a bunch of stuff to it . Like Lift wheels and tires and more . The Tremor has everything I was going to do and stuff I could never do . I will drive the XL until the the Tremor comes in next year .

Since January, I get a monthly call from my salesman informing me that there is no change yet.

Am I understanding that it was built Dec 2nd, 2022 but not shipped when you posted this 3 months later ?

If so, there is something seriously wrong.... have you contacted Ford ?
