Anybody with XLT Lux PKG... please post pic of your windshield

Can you post a pic of your windshield? It says it has a windshield wiper de-icer, but mine looks exactly like the XLT non lux I just traded. Just wondering if they put the wrong glass in it? Or are they made into the wiper arms?

My XLT Lux will be here in April. I was curious about this too if anyone has any input? Like, how does the wiper defrost even work? Built into glass like a rear defrost? Or an extra vent? Or built into wipers?

Also, if you look down in the corner with the window specs, there's a little heated windshield wiper icon. From your pic:

There's also a very fine line on the passenger side paralleling the wiper blade across the frit (the dot pattern) into the glass that some have confused for being a crack.

I was first to post the windshield icon and wire harness location in another thread, but so far, to date, none of the participants have witnessed the system operate. My mirrors get to body temperature when the button is pressed. Windshield bottom is always ambient. Always.

There is a thin heating element. Visible under passenger wipers..placed a white background for easier visibility

Thanks for pictures and info on this thread. It seems like you can't simply buy a part and plug to get this feature. 2024 models XLT doesn't come with this feature anymore, not even in the lux package.

My then brand new 2022- Heated Wiper park did not work- A couple rounds of troubleshooting and they figured out the fuse box in the engine compartment had one dead circuit that was not passing current downstream- All good now -
