Good morning all. I know the manual for my XLT shows "manual AC" but I've got a knob to the right of the fan speed control that shows a temp on the touch screen when I rotate it. Only discovered this by accident yesterday. I'm hoping this means I can simply dial in the temp I want in Celsius (I'm in Canada) and away I go? The dial itself doesn't show the temp just on the touchscreen. That would be nice, please share your thoughts. Thanks!

All Mavericks, at all trim levels, can do that. Manual control just means you can manually set the fan speed with the other dial, rather than using the auto fan speed button.

Early 22 builds even had the temp on the dial, like mine, the picture is of a US model with F temp, mine is C like yours.

Yes, you can do this. It works best if you select the “auto” button on the left side.

The three different levels of “auto” are basically just different fan speed limits. It does a fine job of getting to temp then maintaining it automatically.

You can also use the "voice" button on the steering wheel to raise and lower the temperature.

So just hit voice button and ask CPU to set temperature to say 22 degrees?

Well, I THOUGHT it worked when I was on the road, but now (with my truck in the driveway) it's trying to change the temperature of my home thermostat. I'll have to get back t you on this.

Ha!

That's funny.

It must be an Alexa / Sri / Nest phone related feature.

It's not a truck feature.
