There is no way $5000 is gonna make my Granger Tremor a trade in. But if it was no cash the only thing I would trade for is a Velocity Blue Big Bend 2.3/7spd Bronco Sasquatch Mid-package. I would have to make compromises on space since its cargo is smaller, but it would probably hold up to more abuse from my road/driveway.

I'm not trying to stir the pot but... If you could sell your brand new Maverick for $5k over what you paid within a week would you? .
$5000 over on a brand new Maverick is a low ball offer.

On my 15 month old 2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid with 7118 miles on it Vroom on 3/15/2023 is offering me $33,278 which is $7,210 over my total out-the-door price of $26,068.

I personally would not. I am replacing my 2017 Pacifica.

No, a loaded Lariat has gone up around 4k. Love the truck and now will wait to see if there is a PHEV offered down the road. Don't need anything bigger, with more hauling. This truck is perfect. Able to grab the free pallets for wood and long 16 foot planks.

No, Sir.
I am one happy driver. I need a safe, reliable and economical truck and there is no alternative, even at $10,000 more.
I named my Maverick EcoBoost Tina, because There Is No Alternative.

This point here. I had to spend $10,000 more to get a vehicle that had the same features I want in my Maverick, and I didn't even get a truck. Needs to be higher to justify the replacement.

Nope. My dealer offered me 3K to walk away.
I didn't and wouldn't for 5K
This is the only way I'd consider it. If my dealer offered $5000, I'd probably take it. I don't think that is going to happen though.

I'm not trying to stir the pot but... If you could sell your brand new Maverick for $5k over what you paid within a week would you? I'm asking because it seems someone with a 2023 maverick in hand could walk into a dealership and trade it in for a Ranger and little or no cash. We all love the Mav but Rangers are cool too. :) I'm just asking. Don't hate me. I saw this on another post here. $43,600 is a Ranger price .

I have a 21 Ranger FX4 Lariat and my wife has a Maverick Lariat hybrid. The Maverick is a great truck comfort and driving. Although my trucks mileage sucks in comparison I prefer the Ranger.

An XLT EB with a $12,500 markup? Must be a whole lotta lead in the water there.

But to answer your question, eventually folks come to realize life is NOT about money. I paid $32,561.63 for my 2023 Lariat Lux Hybrid with BAP with an MSRP of $35,995 and I'd not sell it for $50k.

All I would do with the $50k would be to hold it and wait til a Maverick Lariat Lux Hybrid with BAP and AWD could be ordered...and be without a truck that I want for at least another 500 days....should I live long enough to get it.
The markup is incredible. We’re in MI, so yes, near Flint, there was a lot of lead in the water. That aside, it’s true, crazy markups even for FWD EB models!

One week ago, my sister-in-law decided she didn’t like a truck’s ride quality. Two months of ownership into her 2023 Mav EB FWD XL, I listed it for her on Car Gurus. The next morning two dealers messaged, and she sold it to one of those dealers (local, non Ford) for $29,500, which is about $4,600 more than what she had into it (price+tax+plate/reg). It’s incredible that it sold in less than 24 hours listed on Car Gurus. A few weeks prior, Carvana offered her only $26,000.

The dealer she sold it to, listed it for another $7,000 above the price they paid to my sister-in-law. That’s about a 50% markup over MSRP

You might have described how I went from XL to XLT. However, luck played a big part, while the market was hot.

I would take it and put it towards the Maverick Lairite I have on order. Would you like to buy a 3 week old loaded XLT Maverick?
