I drove from Pensacola to Buffalo, NY in my hybrid Maverick Lariat over the past two days. There wasn’t a Maverick in sight anywhere.

I haven’t done any road trips in awhile but I drive a lot in Tucson area as a shuttle driver and I see them on the road occasionally. I see a couple every day at the airport because the airport authority has them.

I’m just up in Buffalo until next week, then driving to Memphis. I look for Mavericks to keep the boredom of driving from taking over. I saw a bunch of F150’s and Rangers, but not one single Maverick.
I saw a white one at Walmart last night, shortly after resigning myself to getting an Explorer in the interim. They do exist.

In the NY area around NYC I have seen a few. There is an individual down my block that has an XL. Most of the sighting were XL s.

I actually went through Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland to get to where I’m at. Not one on the highway anywhere. What I can say is that in all three areas on the highway were mayhem!! I’d never want to live in a congested area like that!!

Two weeks ago I went from Providence RI to Roanoke VA and return and only saw one. It was a Black XLT in a driveway 1 mile from my house with a Michigan plate.
No Mavericks seen because people keep them pretty and shiny in their garages. People often report on the forum that they have had theirs for 6 months, 1 year, etc. and have driven only a few hundred, or maybe a couple thousand miles. Fortunately in Texas, they are starting to pop up everywhere. I rarely make a trip in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, etc. without seeing several on the road. Give it a couple of years, get Ford in high gear, and they will take over.
I work from home. Honestly, I planned to only get 2,000 miles on it a year... maybe.

On my way of driving mine from Granger, Iowa to back home, I only saw one in PA turnpike for the whole 1100 miles.
Back home, I have only seen two, one from the young salesman at the local dealer, another one parked on a driveway in Maryland just cross state border from Delaware.

Seem to be a fair number here in SWFL. I know where two are garaged within a half mile of my house.

That's odd I live in a small town in the finger lakes of NY and the are at least 4 soo. To be 5 in my town even seen a few of those Santa Cruz trucks
