I gotta say after seeing peoples window stickers today, I texted chip @Granger Ford and confirmed that my XLT 2.0 Lux, 4k, FX4, Copilot 360 does NOT come with a full size spare tire. I think the way the build sheet on Ford's website show it as (included with the hybrid at no cost) is pretty misleading. I was expecting it to come with at least one of those packages that it was mentioned on, that I added for $1000's extra. At best poor explanation on Ford's web builder, at worst a pretty shitty way to save a couple $.
My dealer told me that I couldn’t get full size spare with copilot 360. No idea why.

Yeah, the original order guide and the site had a fullsize spare listed under the Lariat Lux package.

I'm spending 36k and getting a donut instead. Because Ford couldn't afford to include it as part of the Ecoboost upgrade, AWD upgrade, FX4 upgrade, or Lariat trim.

Pretty fucked up way to treat not only your early customers but also the ones paying the most.
Add:

No 12-22” touchscreen
No fog lights
No lay flat backseats
No rear seat AC vents in the console
No cooled front seats
No auto pilot
No panoramic roof
No head up display

Where should the list end as you’re paying the most? It’s a VERY entry level truck with a lot of a la cart items.

Yeah, none of those have anything to do with my comment.

A full-size spare tire was listed as being standard on the Lux Package for the Lariat Ecoboost when I ordered (according to both the website and the order guide) and finding out I'm not getting one is shitty.

Compare the order guides between the two dates...look at page 9 and tell me what you find about the spare tire on the EB.

I am always amazed at how many new cars don't come with any spare tire at all, not even a compact mini one.

The first time I saw a car with no spare was about 12 years ago, it came with some fix a flat and a mini air compressor. That car cost a lot more then a maverick too.

But costs are being cut in every way now days. In the past all 4 doors could be unlocked with a key but now only the driver door has a key way.

And don't get me started about new printers being sold with no ink!

What !!!

If you order a Hybrid (XL, XLT, Lariat) with the Co-Pilot360 package then the Full Size Spare tire is included automatically.

If you order a Hybrid (XL, XLT, Lariat) without the Co-Pilot360 package then the Full Size Spare tire is available as a selectable $115 option under the Exterior Option section.

If you order an EcoBoost (XL, XLT, Lariat) the Full Size Spare tire is only available as a selectable $115 option under the Exterior Option section. On the Maverick Build page adding Co-Pilot360 does not select the Full Size Spare tire you still have to manually add the $115 option under the Exterior Option section.

Adding LUX packages to the XLT and Lariat may also add the Full Size Spare tire.

----------

What I don't get is all everyone had to do was look at the Summary section of the Build and see if the Full Size spare tire is listed or not
. If it wasn't and you wanted it then just add it to the build.

This is not true for the 2.0, and the way the packages were listed was pretty misleading

That is why it is important to look at the summary page for the build to make sure everything you want is included.

Well fuck me, I"m guess I just a huge idiot then, to see it mentioned on all of the extra packages that I added to my order, then to see Ford reword those packages later on. I'm not someone that has ever had a new vehicle before, much less speced one out completely myself, pardon my ignorance. Also when the order was placed I never saw a full breakdown of every single detail. Once people starting posting their window stickers, and I had my build scheduled was the first time I had a hint that a full size spare wouldn't be include on my order.

I'm in the same spot, so you're not the only one.

Telling us it's included in the package and then pulling that wording later on is shitty.

I’ll check. I did add LUX pkg. maybe it was already there and he was trying to add it separately.

I was building Maverick's on Ford's website since the order banks opened, ordered on 6/30, and was never lead to believe the full size spare came with 2.0 Lux package. That's why I added it separately. I'm really not sure what's confusing about "full size spare included with Hybrid"... sorry if that confused anyone, but I do not think this is a mistake by Ford.

There's nothing confusing about it. Ford simply removed it from the site and the ordering guide on the Lariat Lux.

Look at the original order guide here for the US and go to page 9.

Your absolutely right about that because I thought I was getting a full size spare with the Lariat Lux package.
