I recently sold our 2015 Silverado HD 2500 Diesel that we used to haul a large 5th wheel. Great truck for that mission. But we sold the 5er and bought a small motorhome because my wife absolutely hated driving the 2500 by itself, and would not even attempt to pull the 5er with it. The 25' motorhome, on the other hand, is OK for her. Go figure.

Anyway, the Maverick will fit my needs perfectly, fit in the garage, and gets even better mileage than my current 2012 Prius-C. I can't wait to get the Mav!

I'm curious about everyone's experience going from a full size truck to the maverick. I am waiting on my Maverick to be delivered but am now starting to have second thoughts about transitioning from a 2011 F-150 Lariat Supercab to a Maverick XLT. Basically, I came to the decision that I really didn't need a full size truck for occasionally moving material around and wanted something more gas friendly. So for anyone that switched from a big truck to this small truck, are you happy with your decision or do you have any regrets?
That is why my second vehicle is an early 90s F150. So far I haven't had to use it for anything that the Maverick couldn't already handle. If anyone is towing or hauling things on a regular basis the Maverick couldn't handle in the first place maybe they shouldn't have bought the Maverick to begin with.

I traded in my 2015 F150 SuperCrew 4X4 long bed for my Lariat AWD Maverick. No regrets here. It is much smaller but I didn't use my old truck any differently than I will use my new truck. I'm 6'3 and i have plenty of room to be comfortable.
