2023 Lariat Lux - No Ambient Light

Hi all. Received my 2023 Tremor Lariat Luxury package truck. Sad to say it doesn’t appear to have any ambient lighting inside. I’ve seen other 23 members say there’s didn’t have the door handles, but did have the under dash lighting. Mine doesn’t appear to have any, and I’ve gone through the settings and see no mention of it. Anyone else finding this? It’s obviously a very small thing, but I was actually looking forward to the ambient lighting in the cab.

My 2023 Hybrid Lariat Lux has the settings for it, but I haven’t had the chance to play with it yet. I’ll try to remember to check it out after work today and report back.

Really hope it is there. My Lariat Lux is due at dealer in two weeks. I enjoy it on my XLT with Lux package.

In the center display, mine is under settings > vehicle > ambient lighting. Kind of lame if yours got left out.

Why wouldn't it, my XL has it if you're talking about the lighting under the center console area.....I've already posted photos of it here as proof. I think it's something they removed for 2023 models.

I believe there is a seperate brightness level button to the left side of the steering wheel beside the Headlight control knob. I can't remember the manual.

That's for the Instrument Panel/Radio lighting.
Ambient Lighting (if equipped) is controlled on the Radio Screen. Next Page in the manual.

My '22 has ambient lighting under the center stack. I can control it's brightness along with the center screen with some buttons on the left of my steering wheel by the trailer controls.

I can also control it through the settings on the center display which I THINK only affects the brightness of the ambient lighting and does not affect the display brightness...I think.

I've heard rumblings that the ambient lighting under the console was removed for all '23 models.

My 23 Lariat has it but you can only adjust brightness, I know I had it in an old Escape Titanium and you could change the colors on it too. But it is still on the 23 models its in the settings through the touch screen.
