Interior door handles awkward to grab

Been driving the Maverick a lot lately delivering griceries for Wal Mart which requires a lot of getting in and out. I find I get the Door ajar message a lot. Not really digging the door handles. Not sure why they cut them off. Awkward to grab and the leverage to close seems off.

I am impressed with you screen sketch handwriting. You could be an artist. When I write on the screen it looks like a cat hacked up a hairball that vaguely resembles letters.

Not sure why they cut them off.

They cut them off to allocate space for larger (taller) bottles in the space behind the handle. It's been covered in great detail. Not many other vehicles have considered space for larger bottles, so this is actually a welcome idea for some people.

Just think how many Ford could have pleased if they had put a 6" tall vertical one with a white/chrome ball on top with 1,2,3&4 numbers on top!
Or maybe the mode selector button on top?
