I added this near the end of the thread:

A few things I felt I could clairfy for others:

• The black/white-striped wire provided by Kia connects to the purple wire. That's for ignition power.

• The center wire provided by Kia connects to the yellow wire for constant power.

• The wire far opposite of the black/white-striped wire connects to the black/blue wire for ground.

This is the harness for the dome light.

I loaned my son in law one of my cars for a few months. To return the favor he tinted my windows today. What a great kid!

Windshield is 1 3/4" below the ASI line (because I know someone is going to ask).

Also, it's Tint World's premium ceramic 25% tint on all windows. Not too dark, but dark enough that the side windows (front and back) look the same.

Yes, I live in Utah, but in the very southwest corner. I hate snow.

I ran up to central Utah yesterday to see my daughter and grandkids and didn't look at the weather. I always check roads before I go!

Had a nice visit and an early dinner but the roads sucked both ways. On my way home there was a nice clearing for a sunset though, but it didn't make up for the 30+ miles of following a 30 MPH snow plow shortly after this.

Hey man, not to be a stalker, but have you figured out how to turn your fender badge into a running light / blinker yet? I saw a couple people do turn signals, but I haven't figured out how to do both yet.

My Eibach Pro springs have settled some.(?)

I've put 2900 miles on my truck since I lowered it on 12/31. I measured the amount of drop again today and the front has settled a bit. I'd still like it to come down 1/2" more in the front.

One thing I mentioned earlier in this thread, my 235/55R19's are SLIGHTLY taller than the stock 17's so the amount of drop is actually more than shown on my tape.

Front: 34 13/16" stock to 31 13/16" dropped.

Rear: 35 13/16" stock to 31 5/8" dropped.

I'm sharing this so others have an idea what to expect - roughly a 3" front and 4 3/16" rear drop.

Thank you. I think the pics make it look a little darker than it is.

My eyes are getting old and my night vision isn't what it used to be. I wanted 5% but hate having to roll my window down to make a left turn or see a street sign. This was a good compromise for me.
