I get 11 mpg in my Escalade EXT and 14 in my 4runner. I'll be happy with whatever my Maverick gets once I receive it. Only thing I'm not happy about is the sudden price increase starting this month.

Your order is price protected.

I'm about to buy the last tank of gas my Saturn will likely ever see and I haven't even been scheduled yet. Not losing sleep over this one. 2022 was a four tank year.

Air down to 14 psi and turn off traction control it goes just fine on sand.
If I had a hybrid I would be stuck in the sand with a front wheel drive. 2 wheel drive vehicles are not permitted. Four wheelers sometimes get stuck depending on weekly conditions even when we are aired down.

So put a winch on it?

It's going to be impossible to know for sure until we have a couple hundred examples of each model year with at least a year of driving. Like on Fuelly.

my 2007 F150 was getting 16 to 17 and it was costing me about $37 to go to Tuscon shopping. I just filled up the 1st time with my hybrid and 478 mils on it and it only cost $42.68 to fill it. So I am not complaining.

Yes most of us have a winch. However on the Maverick I think it would be best mounted to the rear of the vehicle were the hitch is. The front of the vehicle does not support a good mounting platform unless you remove the tow hooks and install a cross bar.

Probably a change in the testing methods that accounts for what looks like math errors in the combined mpg. As for beach driving, I would refer to a previous post about Americans getting fatter. When I was living near the beach we parked where we could and walked to where we were going to fish.

You made the right choice on AWD, dont let anyone tell you to buy a FWD truck lol, especially if you plan on doing actual truck things with it. The hybrid is a prius with a truck body, great for alot of people, but doesnt work for everyone.

I'm assuming that the ratings are compiled in "normal" mode? I am just about to turn 1,000 miles in 3 weeks in my 2.0 Ecoboost fwd. I've been taking it pretty easy in the first 1k between normal and eco mode. Truck is saying 27.1mpg. I'm more that happy with that considering the mornings have been in the single digits and winter is not the best season to achieve best mpg.
