I don't know how Ford thinks that is ok. I mean I assume you put down some money for this order as I did? Did we all put down $500? The fact that we can't even get a window is infuriating. I mean not everyone can just wait for years for a d**n car!

My dealer told me I didn't need to put any money down when I ordered in Oct 21 because he told me, "It will be an easy sale if you don't want it."

My dealer had me put down $500 dollars. It is applied to the purchase. It is a token deposit to ensure no one places an order unless they are serious about it. Given the state of allocations, limiting the orders to those that actually want a truck seems like a good idea.

That's fair, and so that's not on Ford.

Its almost like we should just be able to buy direct from the manufacturer......... But we all know that would lead to the release of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. /S

My first instinct was Ford attempt to get a bunch of hybrid orders to see, at week end, that they'll probably NEVER be scheduled, should switch to EB?

Given that Ford told us all, over a year ago, that they were abandoning dealer allocations, I'll believe it when I see it. Breathe in, breathe out. Pause, repeat...

I was told that mine is one of them too! My order number on my order sheet given to me by the dealer is close to #3000. He put my order in on the first day of ordering the 2023's, around 1:00pm as he said the order banks didn't open first thing in the morning... Your order number within a few hundred of 3000?

I don’t believe the order number means much as they vary with each dealer.

At what point do you give up? I'm beginning to believe that some of us might not get our hybrid orders at all at least they will start making 2024 models and not roll over uncompleted orders again. Do you think Ford would actually send an e-mail saying, "Sorry, but we are not able to complete your order." ??

I suspect that hybrid orders like yours that had a VIN last year but then got cancelled have a much better shot at getting scheduled this week than orders like mine (details in sig) that never had a VIN last year. That being said, what they told you over chat is the boilerplate line they give everyone who is unscheduled. Good luck this week!
